Using touchpad to play WoW

I prefer playing WoW with a mouse but sometimes I am just in bed and wanna do my calling or sth and than its easier to use my touchpad than my mouse.

The problem is that when i am moving my touchpad touches always lags for like 1 second before the cursor starts moving which can be annoying. I guess thats due to palm prevention, thought I am not sure. Anyoen know how to fix this problem. Is it something WoW related or laptop related. I am playing on a Windows 11 laptop.

And if its laptop related, can someone tell me how to turn that off because I have no idea how.

Should be fine, thats how most devs play it too.

I think it’s laptop related. I played with a Steam Controller for a while and i tried to stream Wow on mobile and play with touch control and both touch pads were very responsive in wow, so it don’t seems to be a Wow’s bad interaction with touch control. I would ratter search in your laptop settings, but for this, i can’t help you.
