Whining? Moaning? So everyone whos complaining about Blizzard bad decisions whines or moans? If you buy a car and its broken dont complain to the one who sells it to you. Cause you whine and you moan. I dont care about your personal experience. I am talking with numbers and stats from Wowhead and Wowlogs. i dont say fairytales to prove my point like you do. If you find me a metric that says that after nerf Paladin will be top 6 then you would have a point. Until then share your personal experience with your buddys.

Blizz hates Ret Paladin? Lol you cannot be serious. Ret was one of the best specs in the game for most of Dragonflight, and itās still one of the best in the game. Not just in regards to numbers, but also QoL, utility, mobility, survivability, fluidity and overall class design. It feels nicer to play than most others. They also got one of the best hero specs and keep getting sick transmog sets tied to their theme.
Over the years, Paladin has been treated better than pretty much every other class besides Mage and Warlock. Theyāre one of Blizzardās favourite classes.
I swear half the people that complain on these forums donāt even touch other classes/specs. Ret is the spec I started out with on WoW, and itās in one of the best states it has ever been in. Fact.

Oh no. According to the data retribution is not top one. Better start a riot, cry on forums, then bully anyone who disagrees. That will certainly fix something. Trust. Blizz is currently working on a Ret pala buff as we speak. Just for you. Neatly packaged.
Oh noā¦ We never asked to be top. Actually, if you read my post. I used the word BALANCE CLASSES. That means all classes have the same dps and the damage ladder in a boss fight will be the skill difference between players and if the mechanisms favor a melee or ranged class. Also, you made me lmao in the end.
Delves say otherwise, and thereās loads of examples of blizzard tuning things after outcry. Often only hours after stuff was reported broken/overtuned.
From community blue posters? True but they are not devs, just forum moderators that can often say nothing untill itās posted by blizz devs. Just use wowhead for wow news like everyone else. These forums are only used by a small fraction of the playerbase, even the wow subreddit has more visits than the official wow forums.
I can see how balancing classes is not easy and I can agree in a sense that some classes get left in the dark like Rogue and , until now , SV hunter.
But Pala? Youāve got to be joking right? All 3 specs are in a good place right now.

They fix bugs fast. I give them that. But in class balancing they just donāt care. Or they do it when its too late. For example in Dragonflight, they fixed Rets in the start of last patch.
I know that are forum mods. But shouldnāt they be reporting to Blizzardās class designing team/Developers and get answers from them?

You know that the numbers you posted are before nerf and they nerfed our top damage ability 15% right?
I do as my main alt I raid with + do m+ and I get invited without a problem. Unless youāre an absolute D-tier healer/tank you will never notice this problem. People look at ilvl more than class when it comes to healers. I main Holy Priest, which was subpar most of DF compared to disc, and I never had any trouble.
And yes I checked for pala just now. Pala is A tier as healer and C for dungeons, which is still not that bad. It plays the same and I quote from wowhead āDespite all that, Protection Paladin still remains the strongest tank in terms of utility.ā
So not dogwater at all.
Also pre most people getting 2/4 set which increase damage quite dramatically.
Thats the Wowhead dps tier list for Raid and ret paladin is B. And thats before nerf 18/9. And even if its after nerf which guild gonna pick a B ranked melee class when they have so many in A and S tier?
This tier list is based on high-end Mythic progression, where factors like gear and player skill are assumed to be constant. In almost any situation where that isnāt true, you should value player skill

Iām generally top on dps in everything other than raid which Iām still top 3rd of the pack.

I think you dont get it. Wowhead says that depends on your Raid mates skill level what will be your class rank in a Raid. So Ret to be in top 3 should be in a raid that skill cap is too low. Sorry but thats not ok for me.

Finally, pot and kettle and all of that but why should we care about an 8/8N players input on class balance. Your take basically boils down to "y u reduce an abilities damage
