Well Blizzard you have proven again for one more time that some bad habits never change. Its like politics. We must take for granted that.

You never intend to make the classes balanced. And you seem to have constant hate for some classes. Like retribution Paladin.
You remind me why I quit the game 8 years ago and what a great mistake I made that I started it at the end of Dragonflight only cause a friend told me that Retribution Paladin was decent. Not S class tier but near A. But yet again you wanted to ruin even a thing you fixed.
And here I ask why. Why you keep disregarding all your paying customers? I am not talking about the ones that say: “Oh I can not one-shot healers in PvP fix it please” or "Damn you Blizzard why I cant be always top of dps charts. But the ones that prove to you that their classes are not competitive and raids prefer other classes and prove their point based on logs and class metrics but still you don’t care and you do your things based on no logic at all.
Before I started Wow again I played another MMO I wont mention the name that was very similar to WoW but the dps classes were perfectly balanced. And it was like a 3 month MMO… Although the endgame content was kinda bad. And I was wondering how the hell a 3-month mmo has a better balance between classes than a 20-year one…
And to finish my Wall of Text. You decided to nerf Dawnlight although we were not an S or A Tier dps class please boost Templar Verdict, Judgement, and Blade of Justice dmg to counterbalance the Dawnlight nerf to boost our single damage that its bad and for Retribution Paladin to be a wanted class in raids again.

You expect them to sift through 2000 totally garbage post just to find your 1 post of “mathematical illumination”… what hubris ! The ego of a statement like that !
Also, the Forums are a place for players to discuss with other players. Not for players to have a discussion with Blizzard about certain topics.

I’ve been maining a retri pally since TWW began and it’s probably the first time I’ve not had people moaning about my rubbish DPS at some point since i started.
The reason is I mostly suck at this game so I did a bit of casual guides out there and set up the skills that seemed to be the ones people would mostly use and just started playing it.
I’m mostly just mashing buttons and have very little strategy, as I mainly just push whatever is ready. In my own head I can’t even remember what these skills are named, yet alone what they do, or in whatever order I need to push them in.
And yet I’m right up there on the meters. Admittedly it’s only Heroics or raid finder, but I appear to be doing my job just fine.
So, if you’re nit-picking about some minor change, as if it’s ruined your play-style and viability forever, then I’m going to suggest you’re just a whiner who should get a life.
Before the nerf? And they nerfed 15% the no 1 dps ability in dps meters. And I wont blame them. Cause it was a passive ability. But as I said they should boost other abilities to keep things balanced. Saying that bad gamers ruin the logs is kinda no-brain excuse. Check the top guilds that have top players to see the performance of Retribution Paladin class
Why is a 564 ret pala with no raid xp worth a damn moaning about your perceived place in th3 world?
This reminds me of the darklegacy comic where all dps are equal all of the time and the sim got sorted alphabetically and warriors complained that they were bottom.
If you wasnt so biased about retribution paladins and so obsessed that “OH GEAR MEANS EVERYTHING AND I JUDGE PEOPLE AND THEIR KNOWLEDGE BY IT” you would have thought that MAYBE this is my PVP gear… And not my PvE. I play ret since Vanilla WoW the real Vanilla 20 years ago. I know the class upside down. And as I mentioned in my Topic I use logs and metrics to state my argument. And guilds when they chose classes to join their raid they prefer the ones that are high in logs and metrics. You a top-notch player should know that.

Yet you post on your 80 hunter and you I use logs and metrics in Heroic Raid and Mythic Metrics and you use Heroics and LFR to prove your case. I have nothing more to say your honor.
I may have misinterpreted this, but why does this matter to you if you’re not participating in the logs yourself? Have you seen real world difference yourself? How much has it effected your class?? Because from where I’m standing, Ret Paladin in PvP and PvE is performing very well. So, like you said yourself, the nerf was just, but you want more damage to your other abilities, so that your sustain damage is higher, when lets be honest, its already very strong and you can do it from range.
Ret is one of the classes that has very few abilities on their bar, there’s not a lot to keep track of. So, you have a simple class with an easy rotation, blasting content (even with the 15% nerf), and you want more damage? Okay…
That’s why people cant support your argument, what your argument should be is, why have Affliction locks not had a nerf?
The thing is that a lot of people dont have fun playing the fotm classes. And a lot of people quit because they feel that “I should pick a class that I don’t have fun with to do things that I like, Mythic Raiding for example or high rating arena” but in the end game starts being a chore instead of having fun.
You honestly telling me that I should switch my char on the forums every time I post about it? My man, seriously?
I haven’t used Heroics and LFR to prove any case? I just pointed out that I’m pretty rubbish at the game and I can put out decent-enough dps on a paladin just by rolling my head over the keyboard and dribbling like a squashed lemon.
I really couldn’t give a rats about your logs and metrics. I’m moaning about your pathetic whining just because they made a balancing change on your favourite class (THE OUTRAGE!!!).
I bet you quit 8 years ago for the same reason. Why don’t you just do the same thing again. Might help you calm down a bit.
I’d also suggest that it’s maybe a you thing that is preventing you being wanted in raids, rather than your class. Paladins have a lot of other abilities besides just whacking stuff with their swords.
