I’ve done the Uuna upgrade quests through #8 (confirmed by macro). I’m in Shadowmoon with Uuna and she has the crown on her head, but she won’t say the words she’s supposed to, and she doesn’t get kidnapped. Apparently the game glitched and I can’t complete #9 in order to move on to #10 (her kidnapping). I’ve watched all the videos, read through all the walk-thrus, disabled my addons, flown around the area and back to the campfire. What I seem to need happen is for my game to be reset back to before she got the crown, but I don’t know how to get that done. Any suggestions?
I gave this to AI, which I find is good for synthesizing comments from various places in cases like this, and it said:

Based on extensive community experiences and troubleshooting:

- If this event does not trigger (Uuna has the crown but does not proceed), it’s most often due to a quest flag not advancing on the server, a bug, or an incomplete prior step, even if the macro says you have completed through step 8.
- Common fixes like disabling addons, relogging, re-summoning Uuna, traveling in and out of the area, and restarting the game have not worked for you, which is in line with other player reports.
What you can do:
- Double-check with the progression macro that all steps up to and including step 8 are completed. The macro should output “Done” for each relevant quest flag; if any are not done, the kidnapping event won’t start
- Wait in the correct spot in Shadowmoon Valley (56, 41.1) with Uuna out for several minutes, standing still. Occasionally the event takes longer to trigger for some players because of phasing issues or delays
- Try dying and speaking to a Spirit Healer: Some players have reported that dying (anywhere) and then speaking to a Spirit Healer can “unstick” Uuna’s questline if a phasing issue was the cause
If none of this works, the best and only reliable solution is to submit a support ticket to Blizzard, explaining clearly:
- You have completed step #8 (confirmed by macro)
- Uuna is in Shadowmoon, wearing the crown
- She is not saying her lines or getting kidnapped (step #9 won’t proceed)
- You have tried all common fixes (addons off, relog, flying around, waiting, Spirit Healer, etc.)
Blizzard GMs have previously helped players progress the quest behind the scenes when it’s stuck at this stage
. Be specific (“need quest progress reset to before the crown step so I can proceed with Uuna’s kidnapping/event”) to help them understand the precise issue.
There is no way for players to reset this themselves via in-game commands, macros, or scripts—server-side quest flags can only be reset or fixed by Blizzard support staff

I had heard of the problem before, but I didn’t know about the Spirit Healer possible solution.
AI can give you a VERY good answer - or a very bad one. In this case, it seemed better than my own fragmentary knowledge.
I did actually try the spirit healer, but she would only let me resurrect.
I just went into the game, pulled up the menu, clicked “support” and all I get is a black window with a gold twirling circle. Are they not letting us contact support anymore?
ummm…I don’t know how to use AI. I’m 74 - not up on this newfangled stuff. lol
The Support menu can take a while to appear.
You can also make a ticket froim the top of this page.
Top right, you should see your BattleTag. Hover over that, and choose Support.

Don’t bother with the articles; I already checked them when I waas looking up the answer.
As for AI, all I did to get that answer was paste your exact post into the query box in the site Perplexity.AI - that produced exactly the text I posted. Try it for some things!
I find it CAN be amazingly good for searching comments from Wowhead, Reddit, YouTube, and other useful sites. It CAN also get itself into knots and mislead you badly because of not differentiating between changes across expansions. But if you generally know the direction of the right answer, it can bring up a reference you had overlooked.
Ok, I finally got a ticket submitted. Now I wait and see what happens.
