well though they have started to share their builds now whit others, meening they do give out the files for their builds for others to mess arround whit.
valheim is way more fun than wow atm, more passion went into that game than the past 2 expansions of wow together, but itâs a game with an end unfortunatly unlike wow. The graphics are terrible, but honestly that stopped bothering me after a while, itâs sort of a different art style and some things are really hd, like water, sunrays etc
Graphics means nothing. One of the most popular games of all time is Minecraft lol.
Plus although the gfx do suck, it still has a charm to it, and the lighting is really nicely done.
WoW on the other hand⌠is a WoW killer.
Eventually.
i could see the appeal if it was open ended to some level, but if it has a finite end then thatâs not so interesting to me. Yes I have Minecraft and I enjoy its open ended play. Thatâs part of the reason I like WoW, how it can be open ended.
The lighting, and, imo, also the way the water looks and behaves punches above itâs weight.
Love seeing the sea just go crazy during a storm in the game.
Wow have lack of content why? Because it is mmo if you are old wow player you have msot of things done. So now you sit in Shadowlands where content id gated by time/renov or covenant so there is no much to do.
Ahh right, yeah, the music is also fantastic in there, for not talking about the ârewardâ you get for doing something at the right time (parry an attack instead of just holding block down).
And it also have special boss music
Yeah, if people are into that, maybe if i played it on multi-player it had been more fun with buildings, but, single player, think i pass.
But yeah, it is interesting to see how people are building, hell, even some new youtuber are starting to show off how to make stairs in Valheim XD!
Good, good⌠the stronger the competition the better wow will be
Cleaning out your fridge is more fun that SL.
However the tree you are felling for wood, can.
The graphics are the reason I donât play Minecraft.
You can mod minecraft to look a lot better afaik.
And in regards to Valheim, I think both the fact that it costs about a monthâs WoW subscription for a good 100+ hour game, coupled with the fact that despite itâs low fidelity, it does create views that, to me at least, come across as quite beautiful.
But then again, taste in games is very subjective, and you know yours best, just think that saying that the game looks ugly is a bit unfair.
Not if I think it looks ugly⌠simply being honest, especially if Iâm expected to pay for it.
Well, like I said, the fidelity isnât great, and Iâm not expecting you to buy it, but when it comes to grounded, natural enviroments, I think they honestly look better in Valheim than in WoW, even if the textures on the latter are technically higher res.
I like Blizzardâs âcartoonâ style graphicsâŚwe will have to agree to differ.
Well yes, stylistically I think WoWâs style has Valheim beat in many places, I was specifically meaning ânatural, grounded enviromentsâ, like, just a nondescript forest landscape.
I donât think those are, apart from maybe the MoP areas, particularly striking in WoW.
that is how trees do work yes.
Thatâs how not eating works too.
