Valor Vendor Location Makes Zero Sense — Can We Fix This?

Hey Blizzard Team,

I wanted to bring up a quality-of-life issue that’s been bothering a lot of us who are actively leveling alts and engaging with the Mists of Pandaria content.

Right now, if players want to spend Valor points, we have to fly all the way out to the Niuzao Temple to access the Valor & Justice Quartermaster. This design made sense back in the original Mists era, but in the new classic version, it’s an unnecessary time sink that breaks the flow of gameplay.

Here’s why it makes no sense in the current environment:

  • All other core systems are centralised at the Shrine.
The Shrine already contains the Item Upgrader, Transmogrifier, Transmute vendor, and the Gear catchup vendor for August Stone Fragments plus, if you’re an engineer, the Auction House is right there. It’s clearly the central hub for all character and gearing activity in Pandaria Classic.

  • The Valor Quartermaster being isolated is inconsistent and inconvenient.
Every time we want to Turn in a Tier token or spend Valor, we have to mount up, fly across the map to Niuzao Temple, talk to one NPC, and then fly all the way back to continue what we were doing. It adds no meaningful gameplay value it’s just wasted time and unnecessary travel.

Given that Classic is meant to be a fast-paced, alt-friendly, and time-efficient event, it would make perfect sense to move the Valor Quartermaster to the Shrine alongside the other vendors. It would dramatically improve quality of life, reduce downtime, and keep players more engaged in the content rather than spending time in flight.

Please consider this change it’s a small adjustment that would have a big impact on player experience.

I love how, in the post where they announced it, they said they didn’t like that players had to travel all the way back to ogrimmar to spend their justice points at the vendor since nothing of use in MoP was for sale. So then they introduced that overpriced mote of harmony for JP’s.

And then went ahead and put the NPCs all the bloody way on the other side of the (mop) world…

Big brane thinkers right there.

Enjoy the 3d-RPG world. I do not even posses a 2500g flying license, haha. I think the game is already fast paced enough. PVP-vendors are less far from the Pandaria-maincities than the PVE-vendors, maybe that is somehow inconsistent or unfair. Enjoy the ambience on the way. Is your equipment not worth the scenery. ^.^ I think it is rather boring at it is now, everything being so centered. There are so few reasons to move around while it would be great to have the need to be here & there use the Pandaria-continent. But no.

Be a mage. Set your HS in Shado-pan camp near temple. Not a mage? Ask a mage buddy to do it for you. Don’t have a mage buddy? Get one.

Anyway you will have a centralised site for all your activities in WoD in form of garrisons. Didn’t end well, now did it?

But do not forget the Cross-Faction-PVP-random-battleground-queueing-system. Orc & Nightelf fighting Gnomes & Tauren. In wod.
