As a compromise with Blizzard, perhaps they could make a point in mid-to late season where they become transferable.

I’d prefer for valorstones and crests to be deleted entirely and upgrading equipment was simply a matter of crafting, if upgrading equipment should continue to exist as a system.
The previous system of acquiring equipment and replacing with a better item was working fine. The new upgrade system exists explicitly and only to force grinding.

There is an infinite farm for valorstones.
I think they should add a vendor which sells them for gold so you can buy a wowtoken then buy it to upgrade the gear.
I was dont understand why blizzard dont want we transferable valorstones for ours alts.
Since we got warband
Reason annyoing 2k max. If my main had max upgrade and dont use them.
Would great move for alts can use as they need

I would add that valorstones (and crests) should have a dump of some sort.
Currently the only way to spend them is in gear upgrades. But the thing is that eventually you get fully decked in gear and have nothing else to spend it on.
And of course, because you can only spend it on gear upgrades blizzard has to put time-gates and caps to prevent people from being full 6/6 Hero on week 1 of a season. Which is fair.
What I propose is a way to spend them in upgrading keys, re-rolling gear drops from raids, extra keys for Delves. Things like that.
A that way we would not be starved for that currency early in the season, and then be flloding in it by the end of the season.
Because shouting in bigger letters will have a bigger impact.

You could go long stretches of time without getting any sort of upgrade. That’s just not fun.

Yes this too. Although I’m always valorstone starved early into a season; when they actually matter. 
Nah, it just made all the gear not on max ilvl worthless; if anything they should expand on it, make all the gear like doubloon items in DF season 4 and have them upgradable all the way from Veteran to Mythic, that way gear drops would actually be worth something again and not just a “oh, I’m gonna wear this temporarily but I will replace it as soon as I can and waste the enchantments/sockets on it”.
But yeah, Valorstones are unnecessary, crests to upgrade should suffice.
just idk - its silly that doing M+ gives less valorstones per hour than doing world quests or siren isle or the worldoul event xD
We waste a huge amount of valorstones. They are just binned when we are capped, then later when we need them we dont’ have them.
