Yea, shadowlands whould be the ultimate expansion for this class, unfortually we neither got a class or a new race in that expansion. Which is disapointing.

I mentioned in the lore of the Sanguine, that they have made themself resistant to the sun. Not immune, but has to be gameplay wise.
Couldāve held this short and just requested to make Venthyr playableā¦
Heās no āvampire raceā, heās a hybrid. His mother was human. That āspecial powerā is plainly his human side. And there are plenty of narratives where basically every high ranked vampire can spend a certain amount of time in daylight. Best example is Bram Stokerās Dracula.
Classes should not be locked only by 1 race, that whould mean vampire whould be a neutral race. Plus i havenāt realy found venthyr particular interesting, dunno why they whould care to be bothered to leave shadowlands and fight for a particular faction.
And the lore whould be cheaply made, just drag and drop.

Would be nice if we get some hybrid of Venthyr and SanāLayn like aoe Sucking hp and transfering it to allies and us and giving us also HoT and DoT on them xD etc id be happy to have more undead class because we have so many elves, and ALMOST two of each other races, then why not undead ?
While I have serious doubts that we will ever see this, I can appreciate the effort you put into the idea. And hey, we do have a somewhat vampire-looking skin for elves nowadays.

How many undead classes are there? The ones I can play. One? A class that has been present throughout the lore up to the last expansion, so how exactly has it run itās course, how has the theme? You telling me that my Death Knight, my Forsaken donāt exist any more and will not see any more screen time? We donāt have to make an expansion story about Undead to get undead stuff including a class.

My point is, enough with the Undead/Demons/Void themes for a while please.
It doesnāt matter how many undead classes we have. Shadowlands has been far too much Undeath for a life time.
Lets look at the bright future instead of the dark past.
Well going by history, yes, yes you do.
Death Knights - Death Themed Expansion
Monks - Monk themed expansion
Demon Hunters - Demon themed expansion
Dracthyr - Dragon Themed expansion.
Iām just pointing out that Death theme is over now and its refreshing more than anything else. Lets just enjoy what the future holds and not the past.

Making an expansion dark is usually what makes it good and captures the audience. It doesint necessarily have to be undeads or demons or alike, to what degree is considored dark? Mop was pretty lighthearted, and chill and had no focus on demons or undeads but rather dark manifestations of emotions and mogu.
I personally do not find Dragonflight interesting at all, and i am still on the fence if i shall purchase it or not. Because its such a generic and bland expansion. The devs thought, just throw in some dragons and make a playable dragon and the players will adore this expansion. The cinematic is the worst IĀ“ve seen so far, like others have pointed out it looks like a disney movieā¦
I said we donāt have to, not that we did it. Which is why this is good cause while you may not like the darker side of WoW, others do and I think they would be pleased if you slip them a thing or two during any expansion even if the main theme is Dragons and Disney Princesses.
And I enjoy the past very much thank you, best memories I got are, in fact, in the past. About this game too.
