Vampire Race for the Horde

Vampire, Vampyr, whatever century you like. Alliance has werewolves, it’s only natural for the Horde to have Vampires. Maybe a taller, sharper, human-like race or a Vrykul Vampire would be so cool.
Alliance could get the Light-touched Undead or something.

Vampires… get on it Blizzard. But don’t forget about a new class for the next expansion.

Tbh it should be the opposite.
Werewolf/Lycan for Horde since they are more savage animals & act as pack (Horde).

Vampire for Alliance since its more elegant and human look alike.

If you’ve seen the Underworld trilogy , you would understand my reference.

I get your reference, however I find that Vampires are usually thought of as “evil” or “bad” whereas werewolves are thought of as “good”. Worgen are basically blue and vampires are red so that goes for them too.

Also in WoW, Worgen are kind of these hopeless humans that have this curse and they’re trying to fit in and they’re not as savage as the usual werewolf.

However vampires would go nicely with the whole Horde style. Dark, mysterious, they seem to be the bad guys while not exactly being bad at all, just rejected and… well, having dome bad things in the past or something like that.

They would be a hero race vastly overpowering all the others. One of the major drawbacks would be being out in daylight. Poof! one pile of dust.

They should not be in the game.

To be honest, i find both can be good or evil. But mostly evil.
You’ll understand if you played some of elder scrolls games. As some vampire & werewolf characters were good, but you can also find evil vampires & werewolves. There was even a vampire who was a friend to a normal royal family and later sacrificed himself to the good of the people in his region. They was also a pack of vampires decided to live in exile, away from the people, so they won’t kill anyone.
There is many good vampire characters in many novels as well, so to make everything short. Vampires and werewolves can both be looked upon as evil. But the truth is that everything is up to them if they wanted to be evil or good.

Well we have them already… Still not playable… San’layn

Make them so unpopular like Worgen and we have a deal.

I don’t think blizzard can make them unpopular, because popularity depends on the players, playing them

I don’t even understand, why they are unpopular to begin with… I think the worgen are a cool race… If I would play more alliance, I would have at least a few worgen…

We probably get dark rangers as new alied race in future but vampires would be dope

This sounds like the alliance to me.

New lore suggests they sparkle in sunlight.
So mopey alliance would be more fitting.

9.0 adds Witchers to the new players faction…

Yeah give horde vamprires like those from one certain crappy movie hehe

Yeah but that would be the third blood elf reskin race in the game so having a Vrykul or a taller, slimmer human would be better.

They are the vampires of the warcraft lore. I wouldn’t like to see the lore butchered just to introduce a new non-elf race of vampires.

so I get that you want Vampires on the Horde since the Alliance have werewolves…but the Horde already has Zombies anyway so we already have that spooky Horde race slot taken

Only thing killing WoW diversity is Elves. Blood elves are 90% of horde players.

Large proportion on alliance play void elves now.

Pro elfers want to put high elves in alliance and horde sanlyn elves.

The game be elves vs elves. It’s terrible as it is right now.

case in point 12 of the posters above are elves.

World of Elfcraft

Lemme guess, their leader is called Edward?
