I’m sure that other outlaw players know how sensitive and challenging the rotation can be. One badly timed button can screw your dps for the next 10-15secs easily before recovering.
Anyone else having issues with vanish not setting subterfuge off? I’ve noticed it happening over the past few days.
I hit vanish and follow up with BtE, only to see it immediately go on CD (which messes up the rotation). Then I notice that I did not have my Subterfuge activated. This is despite the fact that vanish is now on a full CD, which means it was definitely activated like 1-2secs ago. So why no subterfuge??
Am I maybe getting unlucky with being attacked so quickly after pressing vanish and get pulled out of stealth that subterfuge doesn’t even have a chance to activate?
it’s a buggy mess
if you break stealth with a trinket for example you won’t get subterfuge
or maybe if something took you out of stealth
and believe me sometimes you get out of stealth randomly while not even in combat
I thought it could be me maybe pressing vanish while being close or in a sanguine pool or something but I experimented today and it kept happening when I wasn’t near any damage. Pretty annoying. I’m gonna open a ticket to see if they say anything.
Pretty much what Xaahz mentioned, with the other scenario being that using BtE in the same update tick as Vanish will most likely cause issues too. Example being that the “stealth” condition in macros doesn’t work if you trigger vanish and shadow dance at the exact same moment.
There used to be an issue with Outlaw, I don’t know if it is still the case, but basically you could have a Main Gauche the moment you used Vanish, which would cancel Vanish and its related bonuses.
On my Assa i rly dont know witch talent are causing targets too be silent
If i just take Iron wire and not improved garrot or subterfuge it wont silent targets if i take all it work
At my understanding Talent
Iron wire - you can silence a singel target from stealth (my testing there was no silence)
Iron whire + improved garrot - you can silence multi targets for 3 second(my test you can garrot 3 sec without cooldown and its 50% stronger but it wont silence)
Iron whire + improved garrot + subterfuge - you can silence or cheapshot targets for 3 second leaving stealth
Iron Wire, as written in the talent, allows Garrote to silence if it comes from stealth. The other two talents simply simulate a stealth-like effect for 3s after leaving stealth, making Garrote silence for 3s after entering the fight.
Improved Garrote is basically a Subterfuge for Garrote only, and Subterfuge works with all stealth spells, but even when talented into Subterfuge you have to pick Improved Garrote anyway for the damage.
