I made a new toon and was wanting to start at Vashj’ir as i was thinking that it would be easily available at that point and i dont really have interest in other areas or excpansions right now.
Problem is, that last i did it required some leveling to get there but some places now say that it is accessible, if only you can find the quest. I remember last time i had to do some odd fiddling to find the quest too, as if they dont want people to find this gorgeys zone(What the heck are they hiding there :D).
Anyway, do i still have to do some leveling to get it open/unlock and if its available now at any level, how the heck do i get there as those boards or adventuring guide etc the usual ways dont give any pointers?
I think all Cataclysm zones require level 30 still. They set it like that at first because flying was at 30 and those zones were designed with flying in mind, Vashj’ir is not but they bundled it together as cata content. I don’t think they lowered the level requirement even after lowering flying to level 20.
Yeah. This is what i suspected, though now that DF, Legion, Draenor and so on can be done from level 1, i thought that they might have changed that for Cata zones too.
Then again to proceed in correct way, we are were supposed to level throughg Eastern kingdom/Kalimdor back then to get that part of the story, but the actual content started with Vashj’ir or Hyjkal back at the day too even while that required some leveling from new players or Goblins and Worghen.
I wish there be proper scaling in place so that people could actually do anything anywhere, anytime, anylevel to create their own storylines. I mean its good now, but for example the thing that Chromie time ends 10 levels before actual level cap and then you either have to go Org/SW to lock XP or be happy with one shotting everything in area you were before is not fun choices.
