You can get 2 pieces of conquest gear.
2 pieces of crafted gear
and 3 more pieces of Bloody Token. (yes i know its -3 ilvl)
1x token from 1.600 = 1 more piece of gear.
8 pieces of gear on day 1 with conquest still capped.

You get honor from any pvp related event - rated or random and even from WarMode. WM awards both honor and conquest points as well as bloody coins.
WM is the fastest way to get geared in epic using a combo of BC and CP. Once you have your gear all the honor you collect is for recipes or gems or whatever and all BC is used for WM stuff.
Thats the good thing- i dont need to lie.
With or without it, gearing and socketing is as easy as hell.
You even get a potion for 15% honor.
Guild banner gives you 15% honor, and you can pop it during or at the end of the bg
Everytime you que in Ashran you can sneak in enemy base- free prisoners = +550 honor (without potion and banner) so thats 1k honor regardless if you win or lose in that particular bg.
Every other battleground has a seasonal quest that you can complete.
You can also send the honor from these to your main.
Also first win of the day gives you 100% more honor.
Meaning you can hop on an alt do your daily win and send yourself the honor on your main.
I can literally get a gem enchant everyday by playing 1 hour a day.
Even by dragonflight standards, to cap the vault alone will take you more than 4 hours and it will yield only 2 gem enchants at the far end of the week.
less than 5% play rated pvp so no need for the pvp vault
Look, im also against PvP vault but what does this statistic bring to the argument ?
