are you paying money extra to your sub for this or is it included in game?
And then I concluded it with:
If vault is no longer the main source then I can return to ignoring it like it did in Legion and for most of BFA.
If you make a comment in bad faith and then proceed to nit-pick on irrelevant things, then donât be surprised ppl will point out the worth of the comment.
Trying to post common virtues while ignoring the crux of the discussion? Whats next? The sky is blue?
Thank you for the bump I guess. I think I am done replying to obvious troll replies.
You are Donald Trump and I claim my ÂŁ5.
Or⊠Is it just not BiS?
Because Iâve heard certain types of players throw around the term âcompletely uselessâ, when that is in reality not even close to the truth. Itâs just not âthe bestâ, which does not make it useless.
They are basically heroic geared and complaining the vault which gives heroic gear isnât giving upgrades. You canât make this stuff up sometimes.
Illegal gambling ⊠how so ?
Should be currencies and vendors like it used to be all the way back in the earlier expansions with valor and justice points.
I also took psychic damage from seeing titanforged praised in the same post where you refer to the vault as illegal gambling.
I think going with an upgrade token Uda once mentioned can work as a safety net: the coins you can get from the vault can be used to upgrade the upgrade track of a piece one level higher (veteran to champion, champion to hero etc).
Outside of that they can introduce a roll system with charges that one can use for M+, where they get a piece of gear from that dungeon on mythic track. One or two charges per week.
As a trade off M+ hero track drops should be capped as well, maybe with the same charge system, perhaps to 3 per week.
The issue m+ currently has is that it has very easy access to the mid to high end part of gear progression, so Blizzardâs solution to longetivity is to bottleneck it at myth track. I think it is much more healthy if the reduce the availability earlier, but allow a bit better way to reach end game gear.
But for a large part of the playerbase it WAS a great system.
I personally loved it.
Also for a large part of the playerbase it was a terrible system since the whole process of gearing was taken away by it. You just needed to roll a couple of times and then you got your +65 ilvl on that item from a world quest.
I remember hitting max level. Did 2 world quests and got already an item that overgeared the mythic raid. It takes away the whole fun of gearing.
The vault is fine.
ItÂŽs myth track that needs to go, because without it none of this discussion would exist to begin with, and .1% title would be an actual test of skilll and coordination, not "who got the best drops in teh vault and was able to farm the mythic raid.
Also has the additional advantage that a talented player that starts later in the season wouldnÂŽt be categorically locked out of even attempting to get the .1% title, because teh people at the top have a roughly 15% higher throughput potential and ~15% more stamina just from having 16 weeks of mythic drops in the vault.
Does that mean the highest keys would be 1-2 levels lower? Yes. Do I see that as a problem? Not in the slightest.
I am fine with the myth track, but they should go back to the 4 levels of it instead of 6. With the 2 extra levels it makes myth track more important and a bigger power spike. Also we are sitting on our guilded crests for these levels. We are using our weekly capped for the vault myth track piece. Which means hero track items are not used to potential. Our gear is 678 myth track or 658 champion/hero track, because that is what you can do with runed crests.
Iâm a numbers guy so I need some numbers. How many Vaults have you opened and what did you get?
What gear do you currently have at Mythic level?
Dont remind me of this abomination.
HC item drops = Oh nice. An upgrade!..wait, it needs to be at least warforged +10 ilevels before its an actual upgrade!
WoW is full of RNG as it is. Titanforge just added RNG a top of RNG with extra RNG sauce and double RNG filling with a BIG juicy RNG at the top.
Titanforge was a bit overtuned (only if rng god favored you). I would stay at max +20 ilvl.
Never was, never will be.
but wonât that force people that drool on their keyboards (raiders) to spam 12s so they can clear their snoozefest content faster so they can quit the game faster until next patch??
I think vault could scale beyond +10s. If you time 8 keys on +12 youâre gonna get 2/6 myth track, if you time 8 keys on +14 then you get 3/6 myth track items etc
I mean carnage boss already drops 2/6 myth track items and itâs easily puggableâŠ
I think the vault should change as well.
IMO the best solution is for the 6 tokens that you can opt for⊠those 6 tokens should allow you to deterministically buy a Myth track item if you qualify for it (as in, if you have done 8 +10s). That item can be from the raid, OR from M+ pool. Your choice.
IMO this is not a big deal. That means that unless you Mythic Raid, you would take 14 weeks to be fully geared in Mythi Track. That is 3 and a half months ! More than enough time gating IMO.
And if you do Mythic Raiding by any chance. Im sure that the 400 wipes on Sproketmonger or Tindral have nothing to do with gear. Its hard as it is. And if they get fully decked in Myth track in 1 month because of intense Mythic boss farming then why not.
