Posting this here so that i can link to this post in a bug report due to the 500 character limit.
There is a bug in the Venthir Assault that will cause your character to instantly DC and get stuck in a DC loop.
Here’s how to reproduce it:
- Jump up on to the wall where you pick up the assault quests.
- Go to where you pick one of the 4 slugs to feed by the Night Fae NPC’s
- Click the giant guy next to them to be thrown up to the higher level wall.
- Click the giant on the higher wall to be thrown back down to lower level.
- While falling back down move your camera or press A or D as if to turn.
As soon as you are about to land on the floor you are DC’d. You can not log back in on that character. When you try to log back in you see for a split second again your character about to land on the floor and you are instantly DC’d. This is a continous loop.
I found that to get out of this loop you can log into an alt, then back to the effected character. BUT when you then log back in your instantly killed on the spot and loose a bunch of Stigia.
Returning to your corse to pick up the Stigia doesn’t work. You can’t loot it to pick it back up.
I’ve been able to reproduce this multiple times.
