As we know, there are a standard minimum number of 3 spots available for Verdant Legend in Solo Shuffle, which the cutoff is based on.
On several ladders (Guardian Druid-EU and Protection Warrior-US) there were people within this cut-off that did not meet the minimum requirement of 50 wins to get the achievement and title. They did not receive rewards.
The problem is that Blizzard forgot to remove these players from cut-off calculations. This means that some players that were next in line, including me, did not get rewards they should have been eligible for.
In my case, the #2 player on the Guardian ladder only had 42 wins which disqualified him. I was #4 which means the achievement should have been passed down from #3 to #4.
The standard precedent is that Blizzard changes the cut-off accordingly whenever people are disqualified. It would make sense that this is still done so I and other eligible people can receive their rewards.
That seems like a nasty oversight on their side. Really hope they get this one sorted out. It would make sense for the spot to be passed on to the next person on the ladder given one didn’t meet the criteria.
Would think so as well, this has always been how its done. They just handed out 2 titles instead of 3, so logically it should be passed down after dq, just need somebody to respond from the devs
Nah, was in a month+ long russian roulette ticket conversations with GMs and the most I got was the message that it’s being investigated on my account. But that’s still very vague. I’ll likely wait a bit now, perhaps there is time to fix/address this as TWW beta is out now. Otherwise it’s back into the ticket queue I guess :')
I understand your frustration with this ongoing issue, and I appreciate your patience.
To provide some context, this is an issue that customer support and game masters are unable to resolve directly. Our development team will need to investigate this on their end, and creating additional tickets won’t speed up this process as the resolution requires a direct intervention on how the game works, how the cut-offs are calculated, and how the rewards are being granted to players.
Currently, we don’t have information on whether a fix will apply retroactively (i.e., whether players who have already been affected will receive their achievement) or if it will only ensure that players receive their achievement in future seasons when someone is disqualified. These decisions are up to the developers, and customer support does not have visibility into these discussions or decisions.
Please keep an eye on the hotfixes and patch notes posted in the News section of our main site for any update.
Thank you for your understanding and for your patience.
i totally understand this from your/cs POV as you’re limited in scope here. although this kind of thing really sucks for players like me who have nobody else at Blizzard to contact/be informed on and are directly affected by this.
could you give any indication if this is going to be looked into at all? the reason I kept my ticket alive for more than a month is because I’m afraid this will just fly under the radar and we’ll never see the titles, being an issue that doesn’t affect many people.
I am in the same boat with some of the guild achievements, especially the ‘Stay Classy’ Meta Achievement. I don’t do PvP/Raids and very rarely do Dungeons. I have been (was) working on getting the Stay Classy Achievement. I levelled most of the Gnomes/Dwarves and Pandaren in this guild, paid for a few race changes but with the exception of the Cloth wearers I levelled all the Worgen to 70. (The Cloth wearers were levelled by a friend). My Worgen Druid hit level 70 14/05/2024, but the guild was not given the Achievement. SO now I have to wait for TWW within to go live then level them all to the next level cap so all progress will be wiped of the ‘Classy Worgen’ part of the achievement.
I would suspect that you might need to do the same for your rewards in Season 1 of TWW. Except it will be different title/rewards.
I have been submitting tickets/posting here and reporting bugs since 10.2.7 went live. Most of my posts have been moved into another post, they marked my month long tickets and responses as resolved, when it clearly hasn’t been resolved, and I think my bug reports have been flushed down the toilet.
Good luck though, I genuinely hope you get what you have been working towards.
Regards.
