Is there a versatility cap active in arenas (someone mentioned 18%)? If so, what about versa proccs that extend beyond that cap? Are they essentially useless?
Someone who could shed some light on this rumour would be much appreciated.

What do you mean by cap? I thought it’s a steady flat increase, the more, the better.
I haven’t seen no cap, you can stack as much of it with gear as you want, and gems. There could be a diminishing return on it though after a certain percentage.
I wish they’d add a cap though
As in there is no dmg increase / dmg reduce beyond 18%. As said, its a rumour I heard from people and wanted to make sure it’s actually just that: a rumour. Ty
If we check on the leaderboard à lot of people got between 15% and 25% so I guess there is no cap.
The DR is what he is talking about mostly.
There is a rumor that there is a hidden cap in pvp. Means that you can still stack as much as you want but anything above x% (Ive heard 20%) is pointless and has no effect in pvp, even when the tooltip shows more.
The only way to make sure is to test it in duels, better wargames. But haven’t found the time or inclination to try it out yet.
Not sure tbh, if you look at people in the leaderboard they have more than 25% snutz on his monk and rogue got around 30%
And also during method mayhem people were running full versa gear and corruption versa. Venruki says you can get around 50%.
So if it was useless those players would probably not run this amount of versa.
Theres no diminishing return as far as I’m aware. Demon hunter tanks I play with have managed to achieve near 100% versa and it still scales then I believe.
It has no real cap bro
It’s Avoidance that has the 20% cap.
Its the only cap i guess
