What’s the point for new players (are there any?) of picking the best talents, if they’re not going to do even hc raid in near future anyway? I mean, blind fury is the most boring crap you can ever use. Just go demonic appetite + eyes of rage and have some fun. And fel barrage might be useful on +7 fortified keys, but I doubt its usefulness in other situation. But it’s certainly way more spectacular than trail of ruins.

Blind fury may be boring, but it performs above other talents at that first row.
The purpose of guides is to tell the new DH players how to achieve best DPS through every possible way at their disposal with currently best siming build.
While I agree that there might be more funny builds, I must say that it is not what you are mostly aiming for when you are searching some guides. You can have fun even without that and make every possible build you like if you don’t care about your DPS.
But if the DPS is what you seek and high end content, you must bend the fun over sometimes and adapt to meta. That is what these vidoes are for.
Thats not right in every case.
I have 1 Eyes of Rage Trait and compare my sims, DA is better most of the time.

The problem with demonic appetite even during Legion and also now in BfA with eyes of rage is, that it is annoying to play and more punishable than blind fury if done badly.
You are mobile class, and this setup si forcing you to avoid moving towards soul fragments at wrong time, because you can overcap fury. Sometimes you cannot prevent that, for example when you are dodging mechanics. You also use souls to heal, but now you are forced to collect them for fury.
Blind fury and immo aura is the safer pick and more easily utilized.

I just wanted to say its not 100% Blind Fury if you want to max. your dps, even if it means you have to play the Souls-Minigame (i like it). Had some good logs with DA, so in the current raid its usable and viable. As it sims better for me and has the potential to safe healers mana, i play it, the added survivability is a good benefit.

^Sims aren’t 100% accurate remember. CT still isn’t working in the sims if I’m not mistaken so it’ll never show as being one of the best traits to take.
Raidbots sims CT correct I think.
According to Action Priority List > Sample Sequence Table:
… Eye Beam > Death Sweep > Meta > Death Sweep > Demons Bite > Eye Beam > …
Well dunno how these 2 Death Sweeps with one GCD in between works, maybe just misinterpreting something there.
(Nvm meta also resets Death Sweep^^)
But DA in combination with Eyes of Rage isn’t simed correctly. Sim DPS is lower than it should be.
I’m guessing that’s with DA? I don’t know a single person using DA and I detest the talent compared to BF anyway so can’t really judge there 
Looked at a quick sim for mine and it puts Meta at 15 seconds so it’s still bugged considering it’s our 5th GCD after Immo, FR, EB and DW. It’s even putting in the combat potion with it at 15 secs 
I’ve also simed with Blind Fury. It uses Meta after Eye Beam @ 4.783 s
I used Gear compare to get CT maybe thats the bug.
Anyway simcraft/raidbots seems to not dump fury before second Eye Beam, I wouldn’t do it that way.
I was almost rerolling mid Uldir because DH became so damn boring without DA.
They even nerfed that Fel Rush trait into oblivion which would have been kind of funny for raiding…
Luckily we now can have 3x Gaze traits and Eyes of Rage got buffed which makes DA more than viable at least for single target.
That could be it. I’m currently doing 1 DW followed by 3 CS’s since the first one is free (TB trait) and after the next 2 it sits me at 28-68 fury which is enough to cast Eyebeam due to the Immo tick, then when Eyebeam is done the DS is back up again.
