Vile Contagion spread range issues

Vile Contagion is a pretty popular or disliked ability in the Community of Unholy DK’s.

looking at the screenshot i included as you can see the general spreadrange of Vile Contagion is quite small and inconsistent especially with monsters like the Endboss in the Shadowlands Mists dungeon.
As example you run this talent as Unholy DK in there and the Larva adds spawn, usually they get tanked right infront of the Boss(which has its spread hitbox in the middle) the moment you press Vile Contagion the Larva adds most of the time dont get any Wounds infested on them because as i said, hitbox in boss core for that and spread range is extremely small.
That is because the bosses spreadrange ontop of the weird hitboxes is generally like right in the middle of the boss model/trash for spreading abilities like dots or wounds for DK , same goes for shaman flameshock for enhancement with lava lash as example.
Increasing the range of Vile Contagion to hit the most right turnip would eleviate the general inconsistency with the ability itself and people would like it more im pretty sure.
The ability has issues with the Y-Axis if mobs are staying on stairs the spread range only counts for the single stair elevation as example.

a little bit of help would be appreciated to make the spec itself less funky and weird.
idk what it is but unholy has always little things that make things work extremely inconsistent and it gets quite frustrating after some gaming falling into the bad rng part about certain abilitys or the extreme odd bugs/problems you encounter on those kind of abilitys.

since i didnt read any kind of bugfixes/changes that heavily impact unholy dk’s performance in dungeons im pushing this again <,<
