Hey guys, i was just wondering… Vile Sting, a lvl 35 Rare Elite Scorpid in Thousand Needles, is he available in the game right now?
I’ve been standing by his spot for quite a while now, so in order to be a 100% certain, i decided to ask you guys 1st. In case he is, do you guys by any chance know his respawn time, i think i mixed up something there. The reason for all this is because i want to Tame him.
According to WoW Petopia he is still in the game.
This link shows that his spawn is across a small area.
Edit: it appears he was added in patch 1.13.2.30406 if you were referring to his Classic location.
Yea, i saw that a while ago, yet no luck. Some claim he has a 36h respawn time, others 48h. Guess i’ll just have to continue trying. Eventually, he’ll appear and i’ll Tame him.
I camped Vile Sting for over a week before I finally found and tamed him. His spawn timer is long, although I cannot confirm whether it is 32 or 48 hours. I checked both after a reset and he wasn’t up at either of those intervals. The problem with Vile Sting is that the area he spawns in is a hotspot for questing due to all the scorpids surrounding the abandoned campsite. He also does pat up and down that area from north to south and back again. Best time to check is in the very early hours of the morning and hope for the best. Perhaps ask in General chat to see if anyone spotted, tamed or killed him. Good luck!

Sadly no because I replaced Vile Sting with Grunter at lvl 50. WTB more stable slots

Hold on, i just noticed something, you said you replaced him on lvl 50 yet you’re lvl 39. Sooo is this your 2nd Hunter or the Char from which you had that experience was from a different Classic WoW? 
My character’s lvl didn’t update here until I logged out and back in on the forums. It is now correctly showing lvl 51.
