Greetings fellow monks.
I have a question re: VoP on brm.
Have any brm trialled it’s effectiveness in mythic as a way of increasing your fight dps and optional off tanking when need be? I understand that the higher rank minor passives for this essence are pretty atrocious for us (shared haste and a truly pitiful amount of vers) but what I’m talking about is the summoning of cow through packs and enjoying reduced CD on FB for more regular uses on packs.
I’ll add Context. I’m not likely to be raiding, I just don’t have the prior planned time for it, so mythics are my go to. I’m climbing atm and am running 8s and 9s most lately. I’m trying to build In such a way that I try to offer as much dps as possible to speed the run, as I feel like my bulk is actually okay atm outside of huge packs with nasty ccs etc. I still keep a few defensively minded choices like my wep enchant for that extra magic dmg absorb etc.
Worth swapping out anima for this? I know conflict and strife is the go to dps brm essence atm, and has a far better general passive (at least with ranks anyway) than VoP, but admittedly I will not be doing enough content to ever get higher than R1 C&S.
So my question I suppose is of the three, which would you deem most ideal for a brm looking to up their dps for mythic, whilst hanging onto as much bulk as they can for a major slot?
R1 conflict and strife
R2/3 VoP (r3 is barely different tbh)
R3 Anima (I’ll have this in 2/3 weeks depending on success climbing keys)
Any tips on ideal second minors and third as well would be valued. Atm I’m using r3 aegis of the deep because the versa buff and self healing is a nice balanced dmg and bulk buff.
I know I could just “look to guides” but I want to hear what people have experienced and what their feedback and advice is. So far I’ve been running anima major aegis minor and it’s been working pretty fine, guess I’m looking to experiment a bit to see whether I can push my dps that bit more and try something different.
Ty in advance.
