can you please help me what I need to do to take this essence
to rank 2 and then to rank 3?
For rank 2 it looks like that I need something from operaton mechagon. If I am not wrong that is just the dungeon. Do I just join it? Do I have to dos omething inside the dungeon?

Not really, just kill the last boss*.
However, since m+ is available the required item also drops from the Junkyard part. Not sure about LFD though, but I expect it to be similar.
And that counts for R2 as well as for R3, but for R3 you just need multiple items instead of only 1. Gladly with M+ you can spam it and, moreover, multiple can drop at once.
so which m+ I need to spam (full name plz)? And it can be also lower m+ level or a +10?
Doesn’t matter, as long as it is Mechagon. So either Junkyard or Workshop.
Doesn’t need to be m+, just the dungeon, can even be heroic. You want Operation Mechagon - Workshop. I think workshop anyway.
The essence progression is basically.
Kill boss, loot r1. Kill boss again, loot blueprint to make r2. Kill boss more times to loot 4 progression sprockets which combine to make r3. R4, if you wish, is reward for clearing whole place on mythic with no deaths.

P.S Just did workshop last boss dropped azerite and some gloves

This is all correct, except you forgot to add that r4 needs to me hardmode no deaths instead of just mythic no deaths 
So what key did you do? Or did you do hc? Because i know the drop chance from hc isnt 100%
Ah, didn’t know hardmode was needed, either way it’s just to make your proc pretty.
I actually had looted the blueprint and handed it in at pascal without realising what it was (yes i know, reading is hard) 
So for those that is a bit silly like me, make sure to check if pascal had the blueprint already 
Rank 1 is a drop from the last boss
Rank 2 is a plan that requires 10 spare crates and 5 charged energy cells, also drops from the last boss
Rank 3 requires 4 drops from the last boss.
None of the drops are guaranteed bellow m0, but m0 and up all of them are guaranteed.
Workshop and Junkyard both count.
I think that’s about all I know about it.
Blueprint: Perfectly Timed Differential required for Rank 2 is not a 100% drop, it’s 14%.
You can get it from Heroic Workshop, I got it on my first Heroic run.
I suggest queueing Heroic. Heroic dungeons have daily reset.
But who runs heroic today?
It didn’t take much time to be honest, I queued as DPS (like 15 minutes or so)
Some people still farming for Rank 2, for instance, returning players, people who gear alts, etc.
for me is very different. checking since early morning. No heroic runs. I did couple of mythic +s runs for both instances. No drops
I managed to get up to rank2 very easily by just grinding heroic mechagon.
Then came rank3. Apparently it should still drop from there. After 10 runs, I still had no parts dropped (need 4 I think). I dont know of their droprate, but it seems relatively low.
Sure its my very inaccurate guestimate based on just those 10 runs, but even IF it was 1 in 10, I’d still be doing it 40 runs. I may have been unlucky, but even if it was half of that. I’d still be doing 20 which is still pretty large number of runs to collect the parts.
At that point I decided to not give a F about it.
I dont do mythic so no idea of its droprate.
In the dungeon, in the looking for group, I can only find mythic groups
