I’ve got quite a weird problem where if i zoom out in-game the items equipped seem to start disappearing / fading away visually. It seems the more i zoom out the more drastic the issue is , but its also varied by race. ex. its more noticeable on void elf females and is most noticeable at the gloves , boots and chest area. It only affects my character on my screen , every other player character and npc is fine.

Maybe you need to report it to Blizzard as well, so they can investigate? Bugs are reported in-game, and not on the forums.
It’s called Level of Detail culling. (LoD). And yes, the LoD culling on the main character is a little too obvious at times when you zoom out. The game even uses a visibly different face mesh on your character at mid zoom levels. It looks stupid.
It does affect all characters on screen though not just you. It’s possible you are using an armor set that has more obvious LoD issues.
Long time to respond, but i encountered the exact same issue. for me it helped so swap to DX11 and back to DX12 … ^^ now it works all fine
