The cycle of life can be cruel indeed - looks like our beloved voice actress Maryann Strossner has died last April.
She voiced the famous turtle Scrollsage Nola (quotes like “a turtle made it to the water”) in Legion and Granny Marl in Legion.

She seemed like a nice lady, sad to learn of her passing.
Indeed.
Many of us though that the voice of Scrollsage Nola was artificial, but then we learned that she was voiced by a real person. Then she joined Twitter. Fans immediately loved it.

So sad to hear. She truly left her mark in the game and the hearts of many of the players, that’s for sure.
bfa was my fav expac so i remember everything about it. the well known voice line will always be a fond memory of that time, may she rest in peace
Looking at dates and whatnot, she must’ve been in her late 90s. She was 93 when she was at Blizzcon.
Sad to hear of her passing, but she made it to a very ripe old age!

Naaw, She’s one of the things I liked in BFA and some of her lines still put a smile on my face.
