Void elf customization cut?

Just logged onto my void elf for the first time in over a year - I thought they had glowing hair customization? Was it removed? They seem to have a lot less custo options than they used to

I think they might have realised it was about time they gave some customisation options to other races.

There’s a toggle option to turn on/off the glowy tentacles in their hair.
As for number of options; they actually have more than they used to.
Still not a lot, mind you. None of the allied races do, sadly.

Apart from that some High elven skin colors were added, as well as hair colors which was borrowed from the blood elves.

The blue eyes and purple eyes were also added which was borrowed from High elven NPC’s

And if you do a quest in Oribos, you might unlock something as well. But I won’t go into that it’s spoiler territory.

Yeah they seem to have gotten a lot compared to other allied races, and recently Nightborne, Highmountain, and Lightforged slowly started to catch up.

First of all, I am a Night elf Highborne mage thank you very much.

I’m assuming it’s because it’s easier to give it to a model similar to the blood elves.

Meanwhile, nightborne have a unique model and a slanted eye option which might be difficult to add.

This is only a theory of course. I honestly don’t know the reasoning. Instead of asking players why not ask Blizzard?

Accept it and let it go.

Just click on the pallet what colour you want to add.

It’s a bit more involved than that.
They already had belf (and thus velf) and nelf dark ranger skins laying around (because those were used for NPCs). No extra work needed except for enabling them for players. Completely different from making a new skin.

Well I would make a thread requesting the customizations you seek given to Nightborne too.

Give some good reasons for it. This is what most people do when they want to see some customizations. In fact, this week has seen an increase of customization threads.

No actually, I think most people just come on the forums and Cry about it until they get it. Not really heard a single good reason in any of the customisation threads except “I’m going to cry about it until I get it”.
