I know that there are rules to RP …
We dont have so much Lore about the Void elves Priests .. It doesnt make fun to RP as a Void elf DIsc or Holy Priest… because everything what I get is a No… - you cant do that .. You cant use holy magic… and etc… It´s really annoying … Nobody wants to interact or RP with me :( I feel so discriminated in the game. Discipline Priest its a class wich master the both powers… Why a Void elf can`t do it? Or why the people are so mean ? xD
Short My RP - Kemèntari’s infusion of void was accident - unwanted , so she has embraced the holy aspect of her class to better resist its influences, and to silence the whispers.

They are so void-infused, the Light and its powers or even someone with the Light (See big T and Alleria, they can’t even hug each other without extreme pain, Alleria shadow mend almost killed T and even to be close each other is uncomfortable ,yet they are lovers… immagine that) is quite painfull to them
I don’t know, using the Light is impossible to them or not, but…
Well, nowhere stated actually, they CAN’T use the Light…
So, I guess, it would be the ultimate sacrifice from a Ren’Dorei’s part, using a power so alien to her now, so painfull, she shed blood tears and almost go insane when she cast a simple healing on somebody… but remorse, etc, she is willing to endure that, to help and aid somebody
Even if it almost kills her, she will use it…
A kind of like a vampire would protect a child with his body in the middle of the day, or from fire…
Painfull and every time she would risk death or insanity just becasue the pain

Blizzard have confirmed the Forsaken can use the holy light at great pain and immense willpower, and they are not even infused with void magic. I suppose a Voild ef could use holy magic, but if even being healed by it probably hurts like hell (refering to how a touch between Turalyon and Alleria hurts them) I think it would hurt so much if it didn’t kill the caster it would make the self defence system kick in and it wouldn’t be possible. Like strangling yourself, it could theoretically be done but not really in practic.
Also, you’ve been so interested in the void that you took being exiled and join the opposite faction, to just abandon it and go with the light again? Feels a bit off. If you really want to rp an elf disc/holy priest and not be a Night elf which would fit so much better with Elune, I’d say you’re better off playing your character as a High elf.
No. And here’s why. Forsaken are undead and fulled by necromancy. The Light destroys undead flesh.
There have only been 1 or 2 Forsaken lore characters who can use the Light.
Void elves are void infused and when it comes into contact with Light is reacts, violently. Chances are you would destroy your own hands trying to use the Light.
Light and undeath do not mix as one consumes the other.
Light and Void do not mix, they violently clash as they’re both as primal as each other.
Could be a really tragic character tho’
Before the transofmation she studied/used the Light
After the transformation the knowledge remained, but she was forced to use the Darkness… but never forgot the technics, teachings and knowledge how to call the Light
And normally, thats is 99.99% of the time, she would use the shadow to heal, trying to do the same, but instead of the warmth of Light, the cold darkness what she calls… same effect, but very different feeling. Maybe calling the vampiric nature of the Void, to drain the sorunding area/living of its energies and redirect them, channeling them thrugh the shadows, to “repair” the injured bodies, like a surgeon, but closing the wounds with little shadow tendrils, and such…
But there is the option, always an option, to call the Light, and while the Light ravages her body, mind, charring, scarring her, she would be able to heal once more, propably a last time with the light…
If she lucky, she survives with blackened, useless/exploded hands and insanity…
Thats kind of… a balance. You know how to use the Light, but incapable of it, without death or worse…
(side note, I think Resurrection is a tricky thing, every priest class is capable of it, and while IC is rare and all (depends of your and other’s oppinion about this little ‘miracle’) while the Light is maybe shields the dead one’s soul, while the healing is done, then lead back to the body… the Void ressurects it, but maybe with a little shadow, something that consumed the soul or memories and belives it is the real one? Or the soul is back, but only its darkness, and have to “learn” to be good again… or find its missing light… possibilites, nice stories, whatever^^)
