That would certainly be a step in the right direction, although even BE males still lack options in comparison to the female ones.
Opening up male dracthyr visage form hairstyles to BE/VE would also be easy. They share the same model already.
(Same goes for Lightforged/draenei costumisation, dark iron/normal dwarves and Mac’gar/normal orcs and even Night elf/nightborne to some dregree.)

All races and both genders should have the same number of customisations.
Blood elf on the whole doesn’t really get much and worse if you’re male.
Then compare that to a Human female or a Mag’har Orc.
This was a minimum-effort customization that Blizzard only did when they pulled the ripcord and allowed for High-elven options out of fear from the drop in player subs.
The toggle was also a half-assed work since they did not even bother replacing tentacles with hair or braids, leaving empty spaces like in the ponytail hairstyle.
I would be happy for both belves and velves to share hairstyles. Only 2-3 of the velf female ones are okey(ish) and the male ones are just dire.

Just open all hairstyles for all races, stop this race restricted hairstyles.

I won’t lie to you chaps, I think about how badly I want NEW and UNIQUE hairstyles for my Void elves every single day, plus star cursed Void hair effects like those Rama had made! As well as beautiful tattoos and jewellery!
I don’t mind BEs and VEs sharing some hairstyles, but ultimately I do think it’s better if each of them had their own flavour of hairstyles rather than just everything being copy pasted. Maybe that way BEs can get a new hairstyle or two as well, even if they have many already, but males definitely could use more hairstyles!
Apart from more hairstyles and starcused void hair effects which VEs really need, both BEs and VEs would really appreciate:
And give VEs some more hairstyles already, especially some buns and males really really need some long hairstyles without receding hairlines! Also what about some N’zoth / Old God eyes hmm?
