Blizzard I love the new Silvermoon City.
Still, of course it is a Horde Capital.
Can we, Void Elves, please have a Hub with our buildings (like a small City) in Voidstorm and/or somewhere in Quel’thalas?
It’s ok if Quel’thalas has Blood Elves/Horde but we also need a Void Elf Representation.
Thank you .
(Sorry for bad english).
I second this, Midnight is the time to expand and develop Telogrus Rift into a major Alliance hub. I dream of a purple starcursed forest and purple sparkling paved paths
Only if that small area is full open PvP which cannot be disabled, so that when the horde login we can murder all the alliance in that small hub in Silvermoon/Quel’Thalas.
You guys cant be serious, void elves should absolutely have a place in Silvermoon , and if should have a 3rd of the city available to them. High elves should have a third and blood elves a third.
In honour of the city becoming horde in TBC, the blood elves should be able to access void and high elf areas, without being attackable and have some interesting RP comments from high and void elf NPCs, however, non-blood elf PCs will have to get permission from an NPC and complete a task to gain a void/high elf escort, they can choose to ignore this in which case they will have hostile behaviour.
In honour of the city originally being part of the Alliance before TBC, the high/void elves should be able to access blood elf areas - but will get comments from blood elf NPCs - either persuading them to switch sides etc. however non void elf PCs from the alliance will have to get permission from an NPC and complete a task to gain a Blood elf escort who vouches for them, they can choose to ignore this in which case they will have hostile behaviour.
Needlessly complicated.
As judgement said that whole situation is far too complicated in regard to what Blizzard wants to do. Also take consideration in the amount of people that play this game and how many of those people want instant gratification mechanics. You can’t expect them to jump through hoops to do something which they’ll complain about within 5 minutes finding out, when they speak to an NPC.
The way the cities are currently designed and who has access to them, it’s fine as it is right now. The alliance will gain access to a small percentage of Silvermoon based purely on the quests and the story that’s going to play out.
They will not gain more control over Silvermoon because this would cause a massive issue on the forums, not just here, but in other regions as well. So, to avoid this mass frustration, conflict, argumentation and people blaming Blizzard. It would be in Blizzard’s best interest to focus on areas of the game that requires their attention, not what best suits the very small percentage of people that feel that they have some vested interest or claim to a city because they happened to play a void elf or because they imagine, that they’re a high elf in the game.
And, the “to honour the city originally being part of the alliance”. Dude who cares! The city left the hands of the High Elves and is now in the hands of the Blood Elves, deal with it!
wasn’t Silvermoon part of a different Alliance back then? Like not with Stormwind but loosely with Lordaeron and Khaz Modan? Silvermoon has nothing to do with this modern Alliance that formed after the Frozen Throne.
History of the High Elves and the Alliance
- Initial Alliance:
High Elves were part of the original Alliance of Lordaeron, alongside humans, dwarves, and gnomes, due to an ancient blood debt with the Arathi tribe of humans.
- The Third War:
After the Scourge invasion of Quel’Thalas, the majority of the High Elves transformed into Blood Elves and joined the Horde to seek independence.
- Remaining Loyal:
A significant portion of the High Elves, known as the Quel’dorei or “highborne” (in their Darnassian tongue), chose to stay with the Alliance. These elves are the High Elves seen in the Alliance.
- Present Day:
High Elves in the Alliance can be found in areas like Dalaran and the Eastern Kingdoms.
It’s far easier to just do it the way they’ve done it.
1/3 is specific to the Blood Elves
2/3 is just for everybody else.
At least this way, it guarantees that Silvermoon’s asthenic remains Blood Elven and playable High Elves will get their own thing, independent from Blood Elves.
My issue with the alliance ones sharing is that they don’t remain as high elves or void elves. They just become Blood Elves until further notice. Silvermoon had to remain a pure Blood Elf-aesthetic city…it just had to. It would be like Amirdrassil having half of it being for Tauren or Nightborne.
no
Definitely yes
Also, please don’t forget to add a hub for the High Elves, thank you
Yes, please!!
Why do you think the Void Elves were banished from Silvermoon to begin with? Surprised they’re letting them in at all tbh.
Please stop.
Please give commands to your hand, but not to me
I don’t really need Silvermoon to be neutral. I only want a Void Elf Hub/City, doesn’t need to be big as Silvermoon but at least a City .
God no. You lot were exiled for a reason. How on earth you think you can come and live in Silvermoon is beyond laughable.
My friend, you’ve just kicked the hornets nest.
Should I start making the tombstone?
Silvermoon was built by the High Elves with the help of the Humans when they were in the Alliance. Therefore, de jure, Silvermoon is a city of the High Elves.
You can start packing your things and preparing for the move.
