Void Elf or Night Elf mage?

I have a level 60 Blood Elf mage and really enjoy its gameplay, and now I want to create an alliance mage - but I’m unsure whether it should be a night elf or a void elf.

I’m curious if void elves are objectively so much better casters that night elves in comparison would not be a good option for a mage? Personally, I’ve always loved night elves and enjoy their starting zone and really everything about them - it bothers me a little bit that void elves start at level 10 and have no real starting zone, but that would obviously be forgotten in time as you level up.

As for lore, I think I know quite a bit about both races at this point and can come up with a good backstory for either race, so I’m not too bothered about that.

Whichever you like the most.

Night Elf for me personally, because:

They also feel “right” if that makes sense

I quite like the Void Elf heritage armor, so since you already have a Night Elf I would try the Void Elf.

But just pick whatever you think you will enjoy looking at more.

Pick Void elf, they can boost damage as shadowfrost by 5%

Void Elf carries the same animations as the Blood Elf, unless you go with the opposite gender.
so if you chose a male blood elf mage, then female void elf mage would be different.

Other than that, I’d go for Night Elf just to have something that looks good, but looks different from the void elf/blood elf model.
