I really hope they’ll get the natural hair colors. Or some of them. Blonde, platinum-blonde,white and black would be good for me.
Edi:After all this entire thing is to give BOTH factions the High Elf aesthetic, so far though only blood elves have it since void elves don’t have the hair colors.
Also since Void elves are getting high elf skin options, they need to have the hair colors otherwise this entire thing was nothing, either you get BOTH or NEITHER OF THEM. But I wouldn’t think a cow would understand that
And who made you the Queen of decisions? If blizzard decides not to give us normal hair Colors for whatever reason, I would still like to choose the normal skin tones, it looks good with blue hair and grey hair.
I mean it would be nice if they added more stuff, but to say “Either both or nothing” is a bit childish.
Keep in mind we are in Beta and they are STILL adding stuff to both the core races and Allied races. So the customizations we see now are probably not complete. When Shadowlands come, then we’ll have this discussion again. Now it’s too early to decide as we don’t know what else they are going to add
I was just saying that it’s better to add both or neither of them. Currently void elves are stuck in between while blood elves have the full high elf look. I wasn’t trying to be rude or anything I was just saying.
Edit:what’s the point of having high elf skin options if you can’t have natural hair colors? As I said this entire thing was to give both sides the high elf option, Void elves still don’t have it completely done you can’t make an elf on Alliance who looks like Alleria or Vereesa. That grey hair option doesn’t count since she has pure white hair not grey.
I understand. I’m just saying arguing about it now is a bit silly, as Shadowlands haven’t come and they are still updating the customizations every now and then.
Also based on the Grey hair Color that’s already available, we do have one high elf look. So even if they don’t add natural hair colors for whatever reason, we can still slightly look like Vereesa (but with a different hairstyle). She’s the leader of the Silver covenant and she has grey hair.
Interesting. We are getting purple eyes too, according to the customization showcase.
I’m assuming it’s because some High elf mages in Dalaran have purple eyes. It’s either that, or the purple eyes reflects the void. Either way it’s a nice touch along with the blue eyes.
We could totally give void elves black hair! Random no name velf NPCs in Stormwind have it.
As of the blonde… Alleria has it I suppose, so it could make sense to give it to us + it’s just what we need to have that complete high elf aesthetic (not that I care about helves much, but we might as well do that if we’re giving velves pale skin to make them helves). Anything other than these two, I am not convinced about. Let’s leave the other colours to belves.
Basically what I was saying from the beginning. If normal skin made them angry, can’t imagine what hair colors would do.
And I actually agree with them on the hair colors part. If it’s something that will make these two Races more distinct from one another, I’m all for it.
I do agree black hair could be added, as it matches the whole void stuff. Anything more than two natural hair colors, is too much.
Anyway I’m so so excited for Shadowlands and I’m definitely going to make my Hunter a High/Void elf now.
But I will make my Rogue a blood elf, because I love the long hairstyle with the ponytail, it looks so much like Valeera’s hairstyle (the famous Blood elf rogue)
You can disagree and you got Nightborn a Night elf race. So srsly And We have HIGH ELVES in the alliance so it makes sense for them to get normal hair colors. Srsly stop gatekeeping hair colors it makes you look really spiteful and sad.
Can you guys just be happy with what you got and stop asking for more?
Giving you normal haircolors would make void elves look like blood elves and we arent a neutral race like pandaren is. We should have our differences.
Void elves arent this special little snowflake class that should get everything and anything. You guys got more than rest of the allied races have so far so just be happy.
I’m happy. I don’t know about the rest, but me personally I’m happy with the customization coming. and I don’t want anything more (although a black hair would be cool). So yeah you can’t group us all together, everyone has different opinions when it comes to customization. I love love love the natural skin and it’s the thing that’s making me super excited for Shadowlands. The idea of a High elf wielding the magic of the void, is cool. Or a more Normal looking Velf.
While I agree, I think Blizzard messed it up when they gave Blood elves blue eyes. Eye color could’ve been another option to add to the list of differences, instead they decided both should get them. That’s why I believe adding natural hair would be a even bigger mess, unless it was something basic and makes sense like Black and white, but definitely not blonde.
So far this is the list of Differences:
Hair color
Asside from blue, both have other unique eye colors. Void elves (white, purple, blue). blood elves (Green, yellow, blue, Turquoise, Blind)
Ear length for Belfs
Jewelry/ Earrings/ Necklaces for Belfs
Voice emotes (Blood elves not only have a different voice, but an American accent. While void elves have a Voidy echo sound with a British accent)
Hairstyles (both have different hairstyles)
Underwear (they are updating it)
Heritage armor
Capital city
Faction
Mount
Racials (one of them turns the Void elves voidy when in combat, further making them different)
Demon Hunter customization/class for Blood elves and Paladin.
So… as shown above, if natural hair was given fully, it will remove that option from the lists of differences.
That’s a bad argument to use, because more is coming for ALL the Allied races. Shadowlands didn’t even come and people are complaining. You realize blizzard is still adding more stuff to the core races and allied races until Shadowlands comes. They are updating stuff every month. Have patients…
