Hello my fellow Azerothians and Void Elfs,
I’m not sure if any of you have noticed, but currently on the PTR all Blue and Purple toned skinstones for void elfs have been changed. Around the eyes all faces now have a dark purple makeup which resembles pink eye.
On the live server if you choose the pale blue void elf skintone around the eyes their is a slightly darker shade of blue makeup. I hate to think Blizzard is forcing all void elfs to now have the horrible purple makeup forced upon us after years of it not being present.
This could of course be due to the beta and it being PTR, but when I copy my characters from live they are changed automatically. It is also present on all default faces in the character creation screen and the barbershop.
I emplore Blizzard, please do not force my void elf to have this ugly dark purple makeup after years of it not being forced.

I checked on the PTR last week and it did have a darker eye color, like he smoked 12 packs of cigarettes a day. Or someone punched him in the eye.
It’s very ugly. I think it’s only a bug and will be fixed. Don’t worry
thanks for the screenshot Puny. so…am i blind or am i stupid? cause to me it looks more or less the same, just a lighter/darker skin colour. ![ ](https://d1bg94bbsh66ji.cloudfront.net/en/wow/images/emoji/twitter/sweat_smile.png?v=9)

OMG! Yes, they did change it.
I saw this effect on the blood elves which was this green fel taint around the eyes. They seem to have removed it from the blood elves and put it on the void elves as a purple tint.
For disclosure, this is not in all face options. But this will change people’s existing characters.
WTH Blizz?! Remove that or make it an option.
Fantastic now at least the males will look simular to the females, good change ![ ](https://d1bg94bbsh66ji.cloudfront.net/en/wow/images/emoji/twitter/slight_smile.png?v=9)
We aren’t females…
I think it’s a bad change. Looks like he got punched in the eyes. The reason the females have it is because of makeup.
It’s not make up its to show Void corruption and should have been on the males to begin with aswell, again perfectly fine change.

Then I guess I will use the natural skins instead.
I will keep the Void skin for my female warlock
Sorry didn’t realise it was a gender model specific issue, did two males in case that helps

I dont get it, In one thread you’re asking for more emo stuff Blizz provides emo eyeliner for boys and now you’re complaining what gives?

I asked for EDGY stuff, not Emo. ![ ](https://d1bg94bbsh66ji.cloudfront.net/en/wow/images/emoji/twitter/rofl.png?v=12)
Edgy stuff is like Bangs hair, Black hair color.
Instead they change the eye to a eyeliner, not even optional
. But I don’t think it’s legit. It could be a bug.
That would be a shame, I would love for them to add it to the Blood elfy skin tones the Void elves get that way they can still be unique.

No thanks
keep it away from the natural skin tones.
You already have your blonde hair to be unique. I’m not going to argue with you on this topic again. I see Blood elves are still angry about it ![ ](https://d1bg94bbsh66ji.cloudfront.net/en/wow/images/emoji/twitter/rofl.png?v=12)
