Voidcrazed Hulk in horrific visions (specifically 8 mask runs)

Let’s talk about the Voidcrazed Hulk mini boss in the second area of Orgrimmar, specifically during 8 masks runs.
The daredevil Mask gives all mobs abilities an increased 400% sanity drain, which is fine, I like that, high risk, high reward, just play well and you can’t cheese it with high ilvl.
The issue here starts when you realise that every other mob or mini boss you can dodge, interrupt etc these mechanics, but the Hulk? Nothing you can do about it!
His throw goes from a 30 sanity loss to a whopping 150 every time you get thrown! Alongside a further 30 sanity loss from his roar, which again, you can do nothing about!
So with your half sanity bar from the mask of long night, you’ve lost 180 sanity which is a good 1/3 if your bar from a mechanic you can do nothing about.
Now lets consider the fact you also have the split personality affix going on in that zone too, which if you get thrown into, means another 90 sanity loss, which again, you can do nothing about because RNG, you get dazed for 2 second, he leaps on you and you’re dead because no sanity, all because you can’t do anything to dodge his abilities!
My issues isn’t him specifically or the mask of the daredevil specifically, but paired together, it’s pretty BS!
There needs to be a way to dodge his abilities because right now you’re relying solely on RNG to proceed which really sucks and has nothing to do with skill like it should!

Yep I think they either going to nerf daredevil, the hulk or it’s not going to matter after next week becuase you have all upgrades. For me, long winter and daredevil is an impossible combination at the moment.

As range you can kinda kite + nuke him and outrange the shout but as melee you just need to commit an orb and every cd as a buffer.

On 8 masks you can use 1 orb on Rexxar, 1 on hulk, and 1 on thrall. It’s not a “great” solution but it works.

yeh you can brute force it by using an orb and killing him quick enough, but it sucks that’s the only way of doing it, and still hoping for that RNG that you don’t get thrown into a split personality.

Put your back to the wall next to where he’s found. He jumps rather than make you lose 150 sanity. No idea if intended but that’s how his AI works since BFA.

What I found helps is that the moment you get a split personality warning you immediately reposition yourself further away and disengage melee range so that you have the space to avoid the hulks abilities more easily when they overlap with split personality and lets you clearly see the safe route out of your split personality.

Its abilities and split personality even with this tactic can overlap very poorly and its not really consistent, just the most consistent way I have been able to dodge its abilities

hulk + split personality was the reason I stopped bothering with visions, very possible but how deep ‘in the zone’ I needed to be to do it perfectly just wasnt worth doing it back in BFA. It completely fits the BFA wow design where everything was decided by RNG rolling RNG within RNG built around RNG and if the RNG overlapped poorly it was lol lmao better luck next dice roll (having less split personality overlaps with Hulk abilities)

Me personally I have the head enchant and will happily never touch the HV’s again.
