Hello

So I usually don’t really struggle with Shadow’s mechanics but I compared my Fractillus HC logs to some of the top parses (both Archon) and I noticed that in our last kill (18.09.25), my Voidform Extensions were 43,5s (first) and 38s (second). The top parse has an Extension of 70s (first) and I don’t seem to find the reason why it’s almost double.

The only thing I’ve noticed is, that my overall Insanity Gain was around 1738, while the top parse has 1854 (more VB than MB). Length of the fight was around the same, our kill 3:17 and top parse 3:13. Everything else is pretty much the same according to wowanalyzer.

Yeah from what I can see, you need to cast more DP, VB and MF:I, and treat MB more like a filler. And I can see that you got a bit too much mastery, so if you could move about 2.5k into crit instead could help the damage. So use the crit flask instead of mastery
