Levelling an alt and got votekicked for no reason, dungeon went smooth, didn’t say a word and about to kill the final boss and got votekicked for seemingly no reason. Got a 30 minute deserter lockout. This should probably be fixed, it doesn’t bother me much but seems very abusable for trolling.
It is unfortunately very much intended to have a dungeon lockout debuff.
Doesn’t mean it’s not dumb and bad to punish innocent people twice. Nice MVP.
In the past there used to be no debuff at all so the players held the group hostage until they got kicked… Then they held the next one immediately hostage because they didn’t like that dungeon again and so forth.
There have been several variations of protections, debuffs etc and this is the final iteration sorts of it. It applies it equally all the same.
If they harassed you with an offensive reason, or in chat, you may report them for it. But if they said nothing - use of the votekick tool is permitted by Blizzard.
If you have a suggestion on how to improve it you’re always welcome to suggest it through the ingame box. But it’s not broken and won’t be “fixed”.
