Earthern dwarves? No we get dwarves with ugly crystals on their skin
Drakonids? No we get skinny humanoid dragons
Val’kyr? No we got kyrians now
Can the wow dev team stop loathing old school wow and giving us things we never asked for? Its like they want to crap all over the foundation of wow, just stop giving us dumb races no one wants, stop trying to distance yourselves from old wow

when exactly did they promise we’d get vkyruls? and how/how would we anyway? why should this northrend race ever join us anyway?

You say KT are just fat humans but arent Vrykull just tall humans?
Not going disagree on Blizzard not giving us what we want though. Can’t say I’ve ever seen anyone particularly excited about Dracthyr specifically.

We got fox people instead of Ogres…
Me neither.
Skinny lizard people is not what i want.
Which you can hide if you so wish.
I’m not saying they’re a race I like, but your argument is rather silly.
Anyway, I don’t think it comes from an unwillingness to give us ‘older races’, but rather from a place of: ‘oh, we love giving our playerbase new stuff and so now it makes sense for this new race to be a playable one’.
If we ever get a big world overhaul like I am hoping we do after this saga, we might see some of those OG races as playable.
big world overhaul will probably come after these three expansions end .we are in evening at the moment .we need to reach midnight next and morning in third expansion of world saga
I have a better one for you:
Everyone: Long Beards for Humans?
Blizzard: Nonsense, you don’t actually want that, here’s some pink hair and pointy ears for the Human race!))))

Someone has never seen a proper strong man.
I’ll give you a hint, they dont look like baby oil slathered body builders…
I for one would not go up to Eddie Hall and call him a fat slob…
Anyway. As to the topic of Allied races.
Only one race should be on the top of the list for Allied race. (ridiculous concept as it is and lazy development)
Gnolls.
