Vulpera Appreciation Thread 🦊

Given some recent replies to other threads. It occured to me that I never made any ‘‘constructive’’ Vulpera replies to this thread… I always end up forum PvPing evryone here.
But here goes. This is Kenrou’s reason for his love for the vulpera race.

I love Vulpera because personally. I dont have any maco fantasies or edgy imaginations about my character. Vulpera fits the bill perfectly. They are just fox dudes and dudettes. with literally little to no lore about them. That could be literally anything in the whole world of Azeorth. I dont wanna be a hung Orc or a brick human. Or a long and lean Elf. Or short stumpy dwarf or human vulpera gnome. or any of the sort. I have no fantasy or identity of the sort… Vulpera are just ordinary fox people and thats how far as their identity goes. They can become anything<3 and I love that about them.

Vulpera will suit you across any identity or fantasy that you may have about your character.
No special poses. No over the top physical attributes. Their just humanoid foxes and thats all there is to it.

At the end of the day, thats the most important thing
Vulpera are and forever will be, unique, maybe the Draenei, hyper-advanced, ancient aliens from another world could rival their uniqueness
But the Vulpera have the creative freedom, you could be anything as a Vulpera - and it would work! Literally there is nothing a Vulpera can’t be, and not just because the lack of lore behind them or focus from Blizzard part (thank to the gods for that! Any race in the spotlight or in Blizz attention ends up ruined… unsalvagable trainwreck. Prove me wrong! I dare you! Double dare you!), no, because anything you could immagine could work with a fox people!
THAT how awesome we are!

Except for druid, we cant be druids :c

I want a damn vulpera druid!!!

Why? Druids barely get to play in their humanoid form unless they play Restoration or use Glyph of Stars. You’d rarely get to see your awesome vulperaness. Meanwhile their shamans have the best totems ever.

Im out of likes and on my phone, heres a <3

I don’t think druids would work… not much vegetation around in Vol’dun to work with, nor on the seas…
Hydro/Sandmancers… maybe
Druids?
Nope
On the other hand, a Vulpera is a clever fox, if one finds a willing teacher…? Why not?
Cenarius was willing to teach a few peacefull yaungol that became the Tauren and even the Kaldorei and back then both races were… well less than nice; the yaungol grew weary of having to share their hunting grounds with the nearby trolls, and, against Cenarius’ wishes, journeyed south in search of new territory… and the Kaldorei? Well were agressive expansionist on their way to world domination…
So stranger things happened
Unique druid froms could work… Krolusk or Saurolisks as Tank, Volture and Gazelle as travelling (shark for swimming, praise Gral, may he devour all our enemies), Hyena or giant cobra as DPS…?

There is something funny and cute about Vulps. But…they’re not very clever.
If you’re gonna call some place a “Hideaway”, don’t place it high up on a wide platform in the open air in a desert for all to see from miles around.

“I do not think that word means what you think it means”.

See? this is the clever part!
Its a diversion, it confuses the hell out of the enemy… and of course its on a higher ground with two narrow pass as an acces!
You heard about the “hideaway” and expect scared little shaking foxies… not veteran desert survivors armed to the teeth waiting on open, highground for you to be foolish enough to attack…

You cunning little geniuses.

The best defence, is not to be there when the enemy arrives mob-handed, therefore a lofty observation post has its benefits…‘Hideaway’ is short for ‘Hideaway someplace else, when you see the enemy heading in the direction of this vantage point’.

Can Vulperas plz replace Taurens now for Meat and Clothes. We Taurens are soon to be extinct if the Alliance or Horde don’t find new ways to get meat. There are already plenty of pest vulperas on Azeroth.

I have a gun that’s bigger than me, a pet snake and a raptor.

Why be anything but Vulpera?
