That makes no senseā¦ There are so many more of you, And your self said the furries where a miniority. Wouldnāt it be easier to just add more Orcs/humans and Elves for this easier market?
Adding vulperas to wow was a mistake. From cool undeads / forsaken races to ā¦ a foxā¦
yea
Yeah they are very coolā¦ They look like their on drugs and pushing on the street. And modeled after Ozzy Osbourneā¦ Although even he can stand up straight.
ā¦Yea
Personally I donāt think its the matter of the Vulpera being a Fox or not. Its the lack of lore and identity to them thats the problem. Of course people would always hate on them for their looks. But Blizzard didnāt help matters by giving them Zero lore or class identity or anything at all on that part. From a Lore perspective they seem to be made to be all UwU.
But they are what we the players make them to be in the end.
That is not bad actually
Without lore Blizzard have very little chance to butcher them
On the other hand Volādun story gave a tons of lore, their history, ensalvement, freedomfight, lifestyle - be in burrow or caravan or on the sea - personality, cool NPCs (I mean Nisha or Kiro alone have more personality than 15 years worth of Forsaken or Human or Orc NPCsā¦) and racial loreā¦ so they actually did a darn decent job with the Vulpera (compared to the Void Elves, Light forged, Nightborneā¦ etc)
And everyone who bangs their chest āmuh Horde!!!ā and āthey are cuuuuteā kinda fail to notice the fact, they are thriving in a desert where Trolls send other trolls to die and they are basically the Fremen people (from Dune) of WoW
Very true all this. And the frequent haters who visit this thread have been told this repeatedly. And the last arguement they always fall on is the lack of Class representation.
How can they be this? How can be that? there are so many other races who have more this and that the Horde could have made an Ally. And so on and so onā¦
We need to see some Vulpera lore and represantation on how their shamans. Mages, Priests and so on work on par with the other Races. Because this discussion always seem to fall back on this. The times Iāve seen it brought up before. On hate threads or this appreciation thread alike.
I think their signiture Class is either the Rouge or Hunter or Warrior We seen enough NPCs representing them
Kiro, their leader (well at least the little caravan coalitionās de facto leader - those foxes follow him our of respect, and in such a society thats something) im 80% sure a Shaman (and lots of their WQ or story quest gave us totems and such to use) and that old hoarder old fox lady is a priest (Iām not totally sure in that one)
The Seafaring Vulpera crews are Outlaw Rouges that 100% certain, Nisha is your typical deadly warrior
Tha mage is a good questionā¦ the Midsummer Fire Festival have Vulpera Flame Keepers and they are I think Fire mages?
But yeah, they are not overly represented
On the other hand, neither the Troll mages or Orc magesā¦ or priests (Talanji is an exeption) ā¦ I mean even after seraching couldnāt really find any Orc Mage NPC who is important or have a name, nor Troll. Same with the priestsā¦
So the Vulperaās class situation is not worse than any other raceās , they are represnted, have NPCs ā¦ and sometimes more logical than the core races (Night elven Mage *cough *)
Itās a little worse than the other races situastion. Because most of the other races where already established on already existing race lore-class lore about their race.
Vulpera seemingly just sprung out of the earth with little to no explanation to most people.
Some stories and lore showcasing the different classes in the game. I think would do them good in that regard.
The same is true for the Pandaren, Worgen, Draenei, mechagnomesā¦ not to mention the Void elves
But staying with the āCoreā ones, when they became playable, not many of them had representation or really strong lore behind them, nor classes (except maybe the monk in the Pandaren case)
Compared to other, the Vulpera is a āyoung raceā, never seen the other parts of Azeroth where we played
But the difference with them, they donāt need really complex lore, story or anything to workā¦ they are every RPer dream, freedom to be anything with quite clear guidlenes
Pandaren? Tied to that turtle (the palyable are thecnically not even mainladers)
Worgen? Gilnean werewolves, humans with a curse (blessing?)
Draenei? Space goats, crashlanded after more years of fleeing than Azerothās most races spent sentient, but untill Argus we basically knew nothing of their society, just that they are Naaru cultist
Goblins? their story is so shallow, you could see the bottom
The Gnomes not moved foward since their little own Chernobil combined with Resident evil
So compared to them? Desert survivor fennec foxes are not really out of the realm of possibilty
They willneed a few years so we āknow themā a little, but the same was true to the other new races, basically anything that is not Human or Orcā¦ but even them have their story and lore tweeked constantly!
The future is bright for the Vulpera
Heck, I could kill to have such decent lore what the Vulpera have!
Void elves: we are (we dont tell you how many) a little cabal of exiled who suffered the effectsa ritual went wrong and jumped ships
Wowā¦
But others are not better
Highmountain Tauren: We are Taurenā¦ but with moose antlers
Lightforged Draenei: We areā¦ the long lost other half of the refugees, just more fanatic. And have a human to lead us. And a Dreadlordā¦
Mechagnomes: we are gnomes who got lost and have a Borg syndromeā¦ yikes
I mean compared to others?
The Vulpera are very very very lucky and have a nice lore
Fixed it for ya! :3
How? You even stated that Vulpera have no identity or background. Yet furries flock to vulpera regardless.
Humans and Orcs ard one of the most fleshed out races in Warcraft.
You know, I know a lot of furries that play Orcs. Are you trying to overcompensate, Asjon? Hiding something perhaps?
Donāt try to change topics. Furries are an easy market to cater to.
Heteronormative and people that think a Muscular physique is ideal are both far easier markets, and larger markets to cater to. You can sit there and go āWell theyāre catering to furriesā but then you also have to understand the implications for your own choice of race and apply it evenly to any other race.
You can stop hating on races you donāt like and or misunderstand now.
Must be nice living in your own world, secluded from reality
You go from saying itās -the- easiest market. To just a easier one. Personally, I donāt see how you can have such a huge problem with this to the point you are compelled to regularly arrive at this thread made for fans of a race to take regular dumps on it to this extent. That a race is made that appeals to players is not a bad thing.
Doing a quick most played races search on google shows Blood elf. Taurens, Goblins. Undead and Orcs are more played races on the Horde than Vulpera. Blood elves the most played Horde race above all. And would logically be the easier market to cater to. If āāMoney as a wholeāā was the sole reason this race was added.
That Humans and Orcs are more fleshed out races. (And all of the above for that matter) Is a different topic. And if you. Like me. Think the Vulpera could have some more work done there in that regard or should of had in the first place. Thatās great! But it seems you come from a different place entirely.
Just stopā¦ Putting your two only working brain cells into your venom and toxic replies makes you look less brighter than any āāZoomerāā you hate so much. It ruins your own points.
No, you missed a spot.
Usually projection with that much hate, honestly. Which, is why it amuses me how you play video games at older ages and behave like a toddler while calling others man children.
Imagine trying to think about old data for decades where people didnāt like to admit such things, when people were afraidā¦ Hmm, wonder how afraid you were in those times.
They are nomads. They travel everywhere and are resourceful so it makes sense they would learn every area of magic possible to survive.
I hope to see Vulpera Druid
I think that spot is taken by sports fanatics, actually. No need to look farther than āgamesā like Fifa. They put zero effort into those games, yet release one every year, and people flock to it and dump their money into their microtransactions like their life depends on it.
