I think in a character-centric MMO like WoW it is important to connect to one’s character. You look at it every time you play, you dress it up, etc. If there is a new race that really speaks to you and attracts you, it’ll be hard to enjoy what you had before - because you know you’d be happier playing the new race.

OP you are looking at things fromthe wrong angle.
It is not about what you are loosing by not playing another faction. It is about what you can gain by playing what you want.
Contrary to what some people tell you, in this gmae you are free to play any race and faction you want and you can play as much as 50 characters, whatever floats your boat.
Having one vulpera character on opposite faction then your favorite alliance isnt taking away anything from you. It should give you more. Also you can gain insight to both sides of the game story if you are playing both factions.
And unless you are top tier mythic raider, it really doesnt matter that you divide your game time between more characters.

I think that your race is more important than your faction, at the end of the day what you see on your screen is a vulpera warrior not a horde warrior.

I’m not a top-tier raider, or top-tier anything else, and I have zero desire to do the same content on more than one character. I don’t want to play the game like a second job, or burn myself out, but I still want to gear up my character properly, raid a bit, and do M+. The game is not alt-friendly, unless you’re just doing old content, world quests, and random BGs.

No really, i found the female worgen models ( Old ones ) cute and was like hah, that would be cute af to play as druid, and it would be ironic, a dog turning into a cat or bear ( Got info from my brother what each class could do )
