Mechagnomes and kul tirans are dumb races that should have never been implemented.
The only people I’ve encountered that say stuff against vulpera are either people who have no idea about lore itself or why they even joined the horde or blood elf players. 
You linked something from the general discussions, I showed you the overall races across WoW, Japan and China are probably in it anyway.

I hate the ‘Uwu’ type nonsense, or people trying to make Vulpera all cutesie. I mean the first Vulpera you meet as Horde is almost the definition of a rabid “Kill em’ all!” type person. Then Kiro, who is sensible, and so laid back he is almost horizontal, but equally, not some stupid furry fetish, Then yeah, her, who sings to Llama’s, but to be honest, thats just one person, Vulpera are cunning desert survivalists who are quite prepared to go as savage as they like, to defeat their enemies. They also seem to have a keen analytical mind, which to be honest you would expect from a culture that lives in an open prison where even creatures who can -regenerate- find so inhospitable that they send criminals to die there.
They fit the Horde ethos, they fit the Horde.

God yeah, some day hopefully 
During the first weeks of 8.3, there was a human hunter who targeted PvP flagged vulpera characters. I kept hunting her all over Orgrimmar.
I personally have rarely met any vulpera hate beside few comments in trade/general chat. People are more prone to do /pats and /ruffles at me.
