Waiting for Vigor to recharge is NOT fun

Seriously, I’m currently sat on a cliffside, waiting for my Vigor to get back to full so I can fly to the top of a spiky mountain to capture a glyph that will help improve my ability to fly up mountains quicker and faster (by which time i will have collected them all).

Who on earth created this garbage system?

Farm all of the sigils, and fill your levels with dragonriding vigors, it may prove better

You’re never going to run out of vigor once you get all the talents and know how to fly.

Don’t sit on a cliffside, it recharges slower on the ground, circle downwards just enough to be in thrill of the skies, then point up and skyward ascent, repeat as necessary. You always gain more height than you lose.

If its that one in Thaldrazsus then you will never reach the top without running out of vigor…I dont think its designed to be reached in one go!

New systems su**! Why dnt they upgrade existing one, why if dragon have wings he cant flight straight up? its so stupid… normal mounts fly 310% when u rush down u can speed up to 830% no vigor sh**, no waiting, no pain…

you can rest on few places when you going for the highest peak of that mountain for glyph
it’s not terrible
But if you will go for that glyph as last one you will have easy time cause you will have like 5 vigor already and that is already easy flying around

What makes you think it was put into the game to create fun? Its friction and friction is not supostu be fun but leads you to fun and satisfaing expeience in the future. Games without friction isnt game

You just need 2 vigor, then you launch yourself upwards 2 times in a row after which you turn a little downwards until you get the speedbuff that regens your vigor in air, after which you use that to launch yourself upwards again and repeat. You can fly indefinitely like this and reach any height without stopping.

When you have vigor 5 and make sure to choose “At Home Aloft” before you go for vigor 6. It is big difference!

Unless u do like heavy farming combined with satchel/dirt farm, then u are done with vigors

Maybe Basic Vigor would be a good solution.
like you always have 3 bars thats enuf to gain more and then you would be able to get up to 6+ for a extra triple boost

You’re probably trying to reach a glyph that is intended for a higher dragonriding level, which happens if you attempt to speed through it. There’s nothing wrong with that, and I did it also, but you can’t be upset if you’re trying to do content you’re not ready for.
As an evoker you have the benefit of being able to alternate between soar and dragonriding to reach really high mountains.

It was really annoying to wait for vigor recharge. So instead of leveling and enjoying the new quests, I had to go further and collect more glyphs. It was meh. I don’t like to go out of my usual way of playing, which is slowly and step by step reading quests and experiencing each zone fully until I move to the next one.

Now I collected more glyphs and the vigor is better, but I really didn’t like my first new expansion experience which was negatively impacted by the constant vigor waiting thing.

But you can fly straight up? Just point yourself upwards and press skyward ascent. If you already gathered speed before doing so, you can reach quite the height like this, and even from standstill you can gain respectable height, even without any upgrades.

Only place where I find I will run out of vigor if I try to fly away from the Iskaara village. There is constant and a lengthy terrain that rises up slowly. Sure there are ways to extend the flight so that you can generate vigor, but Im speaking if trying to fly directly forward. This is the only place where i run into the problem as far as traveling goes.

If we are not speaking of traveling, such as picking herbs, even with all the skills (including the one that generates vigor when you pick herbs), you will eventually run out. After that point, generating vigor is very very slow. Try to find a high spot when low and then use that to float around until you got full vigor again, but that too wastes time.

Personally, since I play evoker, I can just Soar once my vigor runs out. If i’m not landing right away (such as to pick herbs) the vigor has a lot of time to generate.

TLDR.

There are certain specific things that will cause you to run out of vigor, but personally I haven’t found it a big problem.

Vigor regen improves a lot once you have all the glyphs, if used correctly you recharge fairly quick flying around.

You can get a friend to fly you around to gather all the glyphs and you can be a whelp.

You don’t need to wait if you’re actually good at dragon riding.
