Wand to staff and reverse

Hi there.

so i can see many players running with wand + offhand, but they look like they have 2 handed staff with legion artifact skin.

or the opposite, having a staff, but it transmoged into felomelorn. How they do it?

Hello.

Most definetly you don’t see people with wand + offhand mogged into artifacts. You can’t do that because it would look odd to shoot from a staff.

That’s actualy possible. In Legion they gave you one weapon for entire expansion in some cases weapons combos never used before by that spec, Holy Paladin uses mostly one hand+shield and in Legion had two hand. Or in case of Feral and Guardian druid they’ve got pair of one handed weapons but druids aren’t able to dual wield.

Those issues combined with the fact that you might get different weapons, for example caster get’s one hand + offhand instead of staff and you would be unable to use your artifact transmog. Specs listed above wouldn’t be able to use them ever in BfA. That’s why Artifacts got their own category in Transmog Collections: Legion Artifact. You can transmog any weaopon into the pair of artifacts from Legion, excluding wands.

So as your example states you can transmog staff into Felomelorn + offhand if you play fire mage. They are still spec locked. So if you wanna use your artifact transmog you need to get yourself a sword, dagger or a staff.

While it’s true that you can’t mog a wand into an artifact weaponskin because of the auto shoot ability (wich isn’t doing anything in a real fight, only if you right click and it’s dmg is lol), it’s still a real issue for most.

Just because you wear a wand instead of a dagger you are locked into wand transmog? C’mon it is unfair and it doesn’t make any sense. I get why people are mad. should be fixed in 8.1. Make it happen pls blizz :slight_smile:
