Is there any information on this being a possibility in a future patch? because I am actually getting sick of doing the war campaign again and again on my alts, for hours on end. Mindless quest after quest for 23 gold and pathetic rewards. Obviously the main reward being to unlock more traits on your command ship, but damn it’s so boring after the 5th time already.

afaik the only catch-up was something with increased reputation with 7th legion when doing them.
Not sure if it carried through or not.
Hmm, well as a Human I’m getting 165 7th Legion rep per quest (not end quests with Azerite rewards) so I guess they didn’t bother to increase it yet, but it’s a shame that there’s no skip option for alts or something, like in Legion.
Why do you have to do it after reaching 120?
I see no benefits from doing the war campaign on alts other than seeing how choices affect it on the horde side. The boat traits aren’t that useful.

For:
- 40% reduced hearthstone CD in Kul Tiras/Zandalar
- Instantly recruit troops for missions
- Chance to find additional seafearer dubloons on island expeditions
- Chance to gain extra azerite when completing World Quests
- Slight Warfront benefits
- Additional war resources from emissary quests.
You know what, maybe you’re right. I actually can’t be bothered doing it on anymore alts, so I might just forget about the insignificant benefits.

I havent even done it on my main. It’s crap content.
Blizzard maintain usage statistics on wow featured content. Vote with your feet. Let them know in no uncertain terms it’s garbage.

You can only really do half of it whilst levelling, The change they should make is allow people to do the whole war campaign at below 120 so you could at least gain xp from it. As others have said, the boat rewards are not great so doing it at 120 is just a pointless chore.

How do you get to ZUldazar then?
Fairly certain that literally the second or third quest you do as part of the War Campaign (after checking out the mission table) is to choose which part of Zandalar you want to go to and set sail.
Usually hearth to Ginmo’s Crashsite - or sometimes sail.
I didnt say I hadnt done the minimum I needed of the content. I just stopped when I had what I needed. I stopped right after the 5 IE content. Didnt bother at all on my Horde Alt. But his entire reason for existance is only for horde only pets - I couldnt care less about him.
I found two advantages of doing it up to atleast halfway on Horde side:
1.) You will have more followers, which you can use to get Battle-Scarred Augment Runes (maximize your chance of getting more of them.) Admittedly this is only a minor thing to get a little extra income, or to save money on runes if you are using them during raid.
2.) I am not sure of the Alliance warcampaign yet, but on Horde side you get an extra flightpoint roughly around the middle of Tiragarde. It saves you from a lot of walking (and shoe costs, if you wear any of course.)
A catch up system would be nice I can’t see me doing it 19 times on all my 120s. Once for Horde and once for Alliance was enough.
you cannot unllock 5th follower and highest ship bonuses without completing campaign
thats your bonus for completing it
i do agree it should have option to get those once you are done once so you dont have to repeat it on all alts
Why do you need those on alts? I’m very against any catch ups anyway.
