War campaign order

Hey guys!
I’m a returned player (started at 2006 ) and I already played for a couple of weeks now and getting used to the game again.
Thing is - it got me super confused.
For example, I’m finishing with Vol’dun quest line atm and I already stacked like 2-3 War Campaigns quests. Should I finish War Campaign quests as soon as they pop or should I finish the entire continent and continue to Kul Tiras first and then go for the campaign? The right order is really important to me and I want the story to go smoothly.

Thank you!

there is no order. do them as you go. preferrably sooner than later since they require some dungeon/raid quests in the end

The war campaign and “main story” sort of runs parallel. When BfA content was current, there were some level and reputation caps that halted the war campaign, but those are gone now. I’d say finish a main story zone, then a war campaign one (they’re short anyway), then another main story zone, etc. You can’t do the war campaign opposite faction’s zones in the “wrong order”.

Thank you both for the fast replies you helped me!

There is no order but its simpler to do the war campaign after as it continued through the patches so there is more story to follow after the levelling parts of it

The war campaign and the zone quests sort of run in parallel so there’s no real order to the 2 sets of quests.

Doing the side quests will give some further insight into the big story as well as a handy supply of gear, experience, crafting supplies and fun.

Edit : I responded to the first post without seeing any of the other replies, It seems Drae made the same point before me.

Additional explanation isn’t a bad thing :+1:t2:

Thank you all for the info!

I think the way it makes most sense, story-wise, is to do the War Campaign quests alongside the Zandalar story quests until you do the War Campaign quest that takes you deep sea diving. After you’ve done that, finish all of the Zandalar story and then carry on with the rest of the war campaign.
