I’ve tried looking everywhere for this, but I’ve failed to find certain answers for it
I’ve completed the entire War Campaign on my main character, however I’ve done a very little amount of it, on this, my DK alt
Will I be able to pick up the continuation for the War Campaign in patch 8.2 without having done the previous steps of the War Campaign on my alt DK right away?
Or will I have to run through the entire campaign again on my DK before Wednesday?

War Campaign is one continuous story questline. You can’t jump in the middle. If you want to do th next part on another character you have to complete previous parts on that character.
Good question Duckz, i have been pondering the same thing since i switched mains a few weeks ago when i returned to BFA.
My new main hasn’t done all the war campaign quests, but somehow i was able to get the story quests done up to the point where Baine returns the brother of Jaina proudmore.
So i skipped the part where i had to rescue her and return her to her mother. Seemed like another hero did that for me.
I really hope that i can continue the story and don’t have to look into what quest exactly needs to be completed.
What quest are you on now Duckz?
I understand your logic, however without giving any spoilers, it seems that the first part of the War Campaign in 8.2 isn’t handed out as the first quest, but at a later part that seems ‘natural’

That’s certainly something to consider, that you were able to skip a part of the War Campaign you mentioned
I am currently early in the process; the part where you have to destroy offerings to Bwomsamdi and kill Horde soldiers in the northern part of Nazmir
Hoping to be able to jump right into it as well, have a plethora of things I’d like to go ready for 8.2, and the War Campaign is a fairly lengthy campaign to get through too
Do you mean in a way of doing the new zones on alts? On the PTR I was able to do the new zones with an alt that only did the war campaign up until you have 4 champions.
Watched that bellular guys what to do before 8.2 video. He seems pretty clued up, and highly recommended getting it done on alts. Don’t think there’s been any posts from blizz about it.
Jaina questline isn’t part of the war campaign. It’s an epilog to the Kul Tiras storyline.
I mean the war campaign itself; the main storyline we were introduced to when we first set land on the opposite factions continent

I hope that Blizz will make these long quest lines that are required to catch up to the current game (HoA essences, etc) skippable once one has completed them with some character. I find quests in WoW extremely boring and hate repeating them.
Well the quests are giving a lot of Azerite … they are boring if you did them for a day … But if you make them on one character and week later at other it’s not that bad…
I did the Warcampaign this way with 4 characters
About the war campaign : Do it on your alt, this is one of the most efficient way to farm honorbound/7th legion reputation. Each chapter reward a lot of reputation and it’s either a good way to reach exalted or get some free paragon chest and the 4k gold they grant.
Iirc the 8.1 chapter alone reward more than 10k rep and 2.5k azerite or more. It may be boring but it’s an easy way to earn 4k gold.
