So I started playing on AD like 1 month ago and I’m interested in doing World PvP here also.
As Argent Dawn is not connected with other realms how does this look like with War Mode being activated?
If I’m playing an Alliance with War Mode I will see only Argent Dawn Horde on War Mode? Or activating War Mode goes x-realm?
Argent Dawn is linked on War Mode only with other RP realms like Defias Brotherhood. Effect of this is, that (at least last time I checked) unlike anywhere else Alliance actually dominates war mode. Even funnier, we still get outnumbered war mode bonus because worldwide Horde always dominates.

Tbh if you wanna roll on RP realm pick what best you’d like for RP. If you are not looking to RP, you’re better off picking any other realm and you’ll have better time and more guilds/communities centered on pvp.
its also the only group where horde is outnumbered.
Just go to a normal or former-PvP realm for the PvP experience.
You won’t have a very fun experience. I tried wPvP on AD and people would just stand there wondering why you’re attacking them. Then, when they respawn and attempt to fight back they had no idea what they were doing. Like Aldru said, if you want to do wPvP, I’d go with a different realm.

Sure but I want to RP also so looking at above what you said its better to go Horde with War Mode toggled on as I will see a lot more alliance to be killed.
In this case, go ahead if you’re brave enough. Just keep in mind you might as well be overwhelmed in places like the Nazjatar siege event.
Though in practice, due to cross-realm grouping, you will see players from all manner of realms.
I see more players with Cyrillic names than I do AD players when doing my WM dailies.
There’s a reason for this, actually, and I am sorta partially on this side as well (I will fight back if attacked, and I will come to the help of an attacked ally out of principle, but I won’t really ever initiate combat myself).
WM really doesn’t reward fighting players much at all. Once you’re done with your quick weekly call to arms quests, (which takes like 30min if you are on it on the day after the reset), the reward for killing another player is like… 5 honor? Meaning you need thousands of kills per honor level, and several honor levels before you get any actual reward?
It’s just not worth the fuss. I just go in for the 25-30% bonus to quest rewards (especially gold) and call it a day. Most I meet seem to feel the same - even low geared Horde I run into who by all logic should try to flee or hide when they see me don’t, because they know there’s no point.
(Besides, almost nobody bothers attacking if it’s a fair fight, for the above reasons - it’s a really big fuss to fight a player equal to yourself and there’s basically no reward. So odds are that if you -are- attacked, it will be a stomp either due to gear or due to ganking. So nobody really expects anything else, explaining much of the apathy you see.)
When Uldir was still the top-tier raid I used to wPvP on my 110 character. I’d lay waste to my enemies: few classes could stand toe-to-toe with a fully geared 110 twink.
I recall ganking a multi-boxer druid (three druids) and a warrior - both 120s -together. Those were good times.

I think that other realms can join the rp phase.
Even if alliance is much bigger than horde in rp realms or so ive heard, horde completely owns alliance.
Its sad to see it. Id love for just once see an rp alliance military guild actually join warmode and start helping the poor alliance getting ganked in assaults…
