"War of the ancients" Book series

I recently finished listening to all 3 books in the “War of the ancients” Trilogy and i found them to be very good, the narrator did a very good job at portraying each character.

They also gave me a lot more understanding about Dragon soul, druids, Night elves (Azshara, illidan, malfurion, tyrande, maiev), legion, the well, Those “Go back in time” dungeons in cata and more.
I then did a wowhead search for “Krasus” and… yeah that’s really not how i envisioned him looking.

But overall really good stuff, and i recommend any one who enjoys Warcraft lore to pick them up, if you have not already.

The older books are great. War of the Ancients was a brilliant read. Been a while since I read it now, probably have to revisit at somepoint.
I highly recommend Dawn of the Aspects too.

War of the Ancients was a crap self-indulgent self-insertfest by Knaak. He just had to shoehorn his own creations (Krasus, Rhonin) into the story via time travel.

I have read all the books, comics not including. Love the majority of them. Easy to get sucked into because you know the universe. Highly recommend the Lich King novel.

Already listened to that as well, it’s also a good one and was one of the first ones i did.

It’s just that the war of the ancients books just recently got turned audio books, the 3rd coming out late 2020.
