I honestly didn’t have so much fun in Warcraft for a very long time. War Within is the best expansion since Legion to be honest.
Especially Delves and PVP, they are very well done.
Congratulations Blizzard!

Mmmmh, too early to say.
The start has been promising for the most part. I’ll give it that.
So far its been better than DF imo.
The only thing i dont like about TWW is that the world is annoying to traverse with most of the thing being underground.
I just call this expansion Bugs Within as it’s the most accurate way to describe it.
Those webs will summon nerubians. Don’t stand in 'em!
The expansion so far is solid except the fury warrior nerf
i didnt like that we had to wait almost a month for the season to begin.
i already feel burned out prior to the actual game starting.
m+ should be week 2 of the expansion.
Honestly I quite like it, I tend to really care about expansion theme and this one is solid, the story is passable (which for the recent past is a massive win) and the hero talents are interesting, wish feral got other ones but I digress.
Delves are awesome when the fps doesn’t choose to die that day and the raid has been entertaining and I’m looking forward to heroic.
Can’t speak on pvp so I won’t but as far as pve and m+, I have a slight gripe with the choices for the older dungeons in the rotation, specifically grim batol, but I still see the fun to be had.
All in all I am enjoying it so far and look forward to the story progressing.
Its good atm, but too early to say though.
On the other hand tww will last only 1 year compared to others.
This. Pretty much.
Everything seems done well, epic music is back (kudos to whoever wrote that), story is OKish (nothing glorious but not a snorefest either).
There is one big plus, at least for me. For the first time ever, I don’t have to raid to progress my characters. This made me quit two times in the past - when you get insulting blues from heroics and the next step is raiding (I am done with that since WotLK), there is nothing for me to do anymore. Legion brought M+, tried that for a while but in the end did not like chasing the timer, it’s a dumb mechanic. But now I have choices even. FINALLY, it only took 20 years…
There is one big elephant in the room with TWW, though. Quality is down the drain, it seems like I am playing a beta at best.
Bugs. Everywhere. Poor performance. Random disconnects, especially with dragonriding. Buffs and nerfs every few days… This should be a nonissue for a released expac.
Blizzard once upon a time was the epitome of game polish - their games ran flawlessly, had minial hardware requirements and were bug-free to the point it was a moment to remember if you encountered a bug in their games. Seems that is no more… Also, if you need buffs/nerfs every few days, something is obviously wrong with your game or you didn’t test it like at all. These balance changes should happen every few months or less.
Overall, 8/10. Would be 9 but needs more polish. There should not be easily noticeable and repeatable bugs in a released product.
Very well said
So far I like TWW a lot. The Delves are a big win for me as a largely solo player who wants progression. In terms of x.0 patches it’s my favourite out of BfA, SL, DF and TWW. However, we really need to see what further patches bring - BfA won me over with Faction Assaults (released with 8.1) and then Naz / Mechagon and then Visions. SL had ZM in 9.2, which I really enjoyed and almost saved the expack for me. On the other hand, the poor state of the content released in 10.1 and 10.2 really spoiled DF for me and left me feeling worse about the game than I ever did during SL.
As Tah said, it’s still early days, but for me, I’d say it’s my favourite expansion, and I never thought there would be one to beat WotLK.
The delve drama has died down, and I really like them. I like the zones, I like the story, and I like the new themes. The only thing I hate with a passion is crafting orders, but you can’t have it all.
I’m combining PvP and delves and can confirm this is a fun way to progressively gear your character in a two-way format.
TWW is trying a lot, with warbands, new game modes etc, which is a positive, however the obvious lack of QA, and balancing that would make an AI blush reduces the experience for me.
Perhaps save early access for QA testers rather than streamers, and you’ll get more valuable, internal feedback, then actually use that feedback.
Several people in my dungeon group are not happy with the s1 selection either.
It’s not bad, definitely better than boringflight.
I think the zones are pretty small and each zone’s theme kind of boring. I mean arathi humans? Really? And dwarves again?
I was hoping for a more Eredath (old Mac’Aree) like vibe and The Seat of the Triumvirate. Guess next patches will cover it.
It fits the natural progression of the story. Earthen → Titans.
