War Within: Do you feel any friendship when you do Looking for Dungeons?
You queued for dungeon, someone kicks you without justification in few minutes after you join the dungeon… you have to wait 10 min as if you did something wrong, but no, you were only playing the game without addons.
Imagine that you are still learning and this is happening all the time.
My question is: Only the people that already plays the game (full of addons), can play the game? There is no space for people learn or to party? Is everybody only thinking in their progression without caring about the progression of other players, that sometimes may do mistake because they have to learn something in the game and isn’t for their fault?
I think that Looking For Dungeon isn’t working right because people is kicked only a few minutes after joining the dungeon and players simply don’t care about being friendly… lets see that the future reserve for us, but probably I will stop doing dungeons (now, I regret for having purchased a 6-month subscription, I never thought it would be like this)… but everything is fine, the game is big enough and no one has to play with dumb people. I can always play alone or do some battleground during next 6 months.
I only can’t understand how people can be friendly this way, if no one cares about the feel of community and friendship. Even if my opinion is wrong in anything, don’t you thing that this game deserve a better feeling of community and friendship?
I can promise you, that if there is no feeling of friendship in 6 months, I will change to another game that will have. Please, I like this game… please do not penalize people that are only learning and want to be good and friendly players as all other people.
Isn’t the case, the people may kick you only because they 1 person dislike your play style (for example, the tank didn’t like you and say “If he not leave, I will!” in less that 1 min after you joining the dungeon and without knowing you.
Ive did quite some HC spam so far, i never kick unless its afk or pure griefing , and ive had dps doing constantly lower dmg than healers .
Also, when u are learning, there are follower dungeons specificaly for that, so u dont make it worse for others and they dont make it worse for you, go there and take your time .
Not really. Last time random dungeons were fun was remix when we were just doing heroics that were kicking our rear or the dragonflight pre-patch when everything had a massive health pool and did damage so you got to see mechanics. I had a normal freehold harder than a +20. People worked together and it was wildly fun.
This is actually triggering me every single time. I don’t know how. Every time people say it.
No, you don’t need addons to play the game. I’ve got no combat addons other than DBM and even that’s disabled for the expansion launch. My only time being kicked from a dungeon was 3 expansions ago when I was playing a hunter for the first time, got lost and pets pulled half the map somehow. Sucked but what can you do. You just need to get some experience from playing the game, learning mechanics, paying attention.
I don’t understand what is going on and obviously you aren’t telling the full story either to make a point or because you don’t understand something but addons are not at fault. Maybe you’re doing something really wrong or they’re just being very rude. Rather than blame it on external things see what you can find out about what happened, what you can do better, what you can do to prevent others from dealing with that as well.
My friend, I play wow since 2007 and I have more than 30 level 70 characters… I think this is enough and I do not need to explain more… I know what were the TBC days of playing wow and what was a friendly game way of playing.
I do not want to enforce my opinion, I want that community think about the kind of game people want… no one cares if I quit the game, but if many more people do not like, probably Blizzard should think about it.
Then why do you need help? It is not 2007 anymore. WoW is not your social media anymore. WoW isn’t the only good online game anymore. In 2007 you were on WoW because there was nothing else to play or do and thats where you sat and talked to people. The gameplay was 1-2 buttons or even auto attack focused and the dungeons were a slog. You chatted because there was nothing else to do unless you had your TV pulled into your computer room.
Its 2024. I have a movie or streaming TV site on another monitor. I’m chatting to people on Discord voice and if the game sucks I log out and play one of 50 other games. If you played back then you shouldn’t need help understanding why you won’t make 50 friends per hour in LFD.

Why should I reply to conflict arguments that make no sense? Ok, keep that opinion… isn’t important for me if you attack me. I am talking about the game, not about myself… if you prefer to attack my opinion, fine… but you are not talking about the issue, so I don’t need to provide you any answer.
That’s not the answer. You guys are talking about “joining a guild” like that will fix …everything. You first MUST find a decent guild to play with. THEN that guild must have decent people, communicating, willing to do stuff together, etc.
I have yet to see a vote kick in TWW dungeons, not even when it would have been reasonable.
If you get kicked, it is always for a reason. The reason may not always be sensible, but usually it is something that irritated the group: arguing, afking, very low damage/healing, tank not holding aggro at all, failing mechanics in a way that wipes the group, etc. Stuff like that.
I’ve made some friends in M+ dungeons, but random normal/HC dungeons are probably not a good place for that. Hardly anyone talks and people just mindlessly farm them.
I never said it was easy, I did say that guilds are a massive positive in this game. I wish the game did more to promote the importance of guilds.
Whether you care about a guild or not, guilds an ideal way of having the same group of people to regularly play with, and the game does very little to help people understand the importance of selecting a guild rather than just accepting one of the many “mass invite” guilds out there that do nothing to help the game.
Suggesting something that solves a problem, based upon personal experience is not flexing, it’s suggesting “try this it worked for me”.
Anyway, I feel that the game needs to highlight the value of guilds, add it to the ever increasing list of important things the game doesn’t help new players with, I suppose.
I’ve generally found this to be true, but I’ve seen some really, really dumb “kick reasons” in the past when someone has asked to vote kick a player.
I think that the player who is kicked, should see the reason they were kicked (and have the option to report it, if necessary) when they leave.

Thanks for providing your view… as you noticed, people do not need to agree with me and I recognize that you shared your opinion without attacking anyone. Thank you for being kind.
