How much is the mandatory story questing? Or can I just skip everything and level in dungeons/delves with alts?
I already leveled a few tanks in timewalking during this event to lvl70 but I have no clue if the story quests are mandatory or skippable, so I just stopped there.
I have a lvl80 character already, so the story, sojourner and explorer is done account wide, however I’m not sure how much xp would be the mandatory questing on the new zones to have access to everything.
I think doing the main campaign quest once unlocks world quests, various weekly events, and sparks for crafting. But that’s account-wide. If you already have that stuff unlocked, you don’t need to repeat any quests on alts.
Also, once you’ve done it your alts will have the option to skip the leveling campaign
If its your first character, you want to do the main story as otherwise you’ll be prevented from doing WQs and Delves past Tier 3.
For alts, I’d just spam TW Dungeons if you want to hit 80 fast.
