With the warband system in war within, will the challenge mode appearances from MOP, be available for purchase across all characters on the account ? Or will they still be locked and only available to the character that you got the achievements on ? Would love to be able to use challenge mode sets for all my characters as long as i did the achievement required for the unlocking of the set on one character.

Most likely not.
I can’t say for sure. But in the q and a thry said various legacy things would remain locked. They were talking achievements but I can see it extending to legacy stuff like this.
I’m surprised such a small change to the game hasn’t already been implemented. The WoD Challenge Mode appearances went account-wide at the end of that expansion and that was ages ago now!
Maybe its cos they’re class-specific and the “prestige” is having done the challenge at the time on that specific class.
Maybe they’re planning on putting them in the Trading Post rotation? Imagine the malding AND the extra salt if they just release one piece at a time? Hahaha…

Given their repeated comments about Mage Tower appearances it seems their attitude about transmogs originating from long removed, once challenging content is No Reintroduction. I would be surprised if they made an exception now for MoP sets.
On personal note, I wouldn’t mind seeing them introduced again; not necessarily for free, but available in some capacity. I remember back in MoP, only by the very end of the expansion you could see people in challenge transmog everywhere, literally every other person afking in Shrine had it. And since I was much more active on the forums as well, I checked armory of quite a few people sporting them and the vast majority of them were obviously boosted (and guess what, me included, costed 80k back then). They were unique sets (the first ever with their own animations iirc, it was a whole new level compared to standard pve or pvp sets) and some gorgeous in their own right, but hardly “prestigeous”.
Yo your post gives me hope one day to either unlock legion artifacts appearances from mage tower via some hidden quest akin to old nax or scholo or outright buy then with tender.

Hope so but I strongly doubt it.
I wouldn’t expect something like that to become available but there is certainly no harm in asking.
the Indomitable WOD CM title accountwide would also be nice.
everything else (silver/gold) is account wide. Title (bronze) not. strange.
Account-bound Reputations and Achievements will be tied to War Within Content to begin with.
So unlikely from launch.
They have also said that Class locked transmog items will still require that Class to unlock them. i.e. Warrior Tier set can’t be unlocked on your Rogue.
With that in mind, I suspect Class related Achievments will get the same treatment.
