Warband bank is only usable on 1 account?

Hi, i got 2 accounts. I can only use the warband bank on 1 account. Is that intended? on the second account it keep saying that someone else is using the warband bank.

Is there not a way to link accounts? Remember a few years back there was linked accounts but never looked into it.

Share Items between your characters on a single Battle.net account in one convenient place—your Warband Bank.

It is only shared between the WoW game licenses in 1 BNet account.

If you’re using it on the same BNET account, WoW 1 ↔ WoW 2 it is a known issue that sometimes it appears to get blocked from use.

I believe this is how it’s supposed to be. I also have two accounts, and have this message. It works like Pet Battles - they can only be done on one account at a time (the first one that you logged in). In order to use it on a different account, you will need to log off both, and log on again on the account you wish to use the bank on.
This was informed in the official info about the warbank:
“Also, similar to pet battles, players who play multiple characters simultaneously on multiple World of Warcraft accounts will find that only the character that logs into the realm first will have access to the Warband Bank.”
You do have access to the items in the bank across accounts, but not at the same time if logged on to two or more accounts.

Maybe its a deterrent for multiboxers.

thanks Saneko, i have wow 1 and wow 2. and only on wow 1 it works.

Thanks for the clarification.
However, what is the reason for this? Is it just a technical issue?

I would guess it’s technical. While it’s allowed to have more than one account, the game is not adapted to that. Things are developed with the thought that most people have one account.

This is a MASSIVE problem !!!

i pay for 3 x wow on same battle.net to farm mounts, pet’s ect … this is UNACCEPTABLE for paying customers to have stuff put in, and again hit a brick wall …

only 1 account can access the warbank, to swap you need to log out both characters then log in to the other account.

Yes. Because each Warband Bank is an individual account bank. Blizzard NEVER stated anything else than that.

Tryed, it doesnt work

I also have multiple WOW licenses in my battlenet account and all of them can access the same warband bank as long as I am logged in only with one account at a time

No. A Warband Bank is a BattleNet account bank. There is only one for your BattleNet account, no matter how much WOW accounts you have. In fact, it should preciselly work like that because if the Warband bank were limited to one per WOW acount it will be a great advantage to multiboxers, having access to more warband bank tabs (and cheaper) than players with only one account.

It just doesn’t work with multiple WOW accounts in the same BattleNet account at the same time, but that is for technical reasons

thanks, it works for me every 5 times or so. But thanks for the advise.

I humbly dare to question the ‘account’ meaning. :grinning:
Accountwide achievements are Battlenetwide achievements, same for account bound items.

Yes. And the bank works per battle.net ACCOUNT. Is that maybe more clear for you?

Buyer’s remorse; spent what?!.. 3 million gold unlocking all those tabs just to find out you can only use Warband bank once every 2 hours when you’re out and about.

In fact I believe there has been years since we had in game anything that is acount wide only in the wow account level, and not in the battle net account level.

I think things were wow account bound before battle net accounts were a thing (and that is why collector editions in Classic was WOW account bound initially and not battlenet account bound) but there is nothing limited to individual wow accounts in retail since years ago

No, but I really don’t care. :grinning:

And a battle.net ACCOUNT is the combination of multiple WOW ACCOUNTS, up to 8 wich is a contradiction with your original message
